watching Cesare Toffolo work is such a treat. To me its comparable to watching Leonardo Da Vinci or Rembrandt paint a masterpiece.

i could watch Cesare pull points all day

Brilliant to watch a master in action, though got to ask; Has Mr Toffolo got asbestos skin palms, as he seems to grab the points real quickly after pulling them and even wipes the big bubble with his bare hands straight after its pulled out of the kiln(presume it was out of the kiln)

If you watch the other italian masters in corning or torch talk videos, they can be seen doing the same thing. Wiping kiln dust off glass right out from the kiln. Emilio had a student telling him it's bad for his hands in one of his corning videos, and he just dismisses it "nah it's no problem." It's a real sign of a master just like when a chef reaches into boiling water on the fly to grab something quickly. They know what to expect and the pain is fleeting.

Yo mike, I was the dude with the GoPro, we met. Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to upload this video to youtube? I have many hour plus length demos I'm meaning to upload (still need to edit most of them) I'm new to all of this. I started uploading the Martin janecky demo and it said 0% uploaded after like 30 minutes.... Also, I probably don't even need to upload my demo of Cesare lol, you got a way better angle. Nice meeting you Caleb Siegler

Hey Caleb! Was nice to meet out in Murano! Sorry just saw this, been out of town for the ASGS Symposium. So upload times depend on the file size and your internet connection, like if you recorded in 4k or higher bitrates at lower resolution it will take longer and then it depends on your upload bandwidth. When I upload a video it usually takes a few hours tho I recently upgraded my service and now its like 1-2. In this case tho I streamed the show live so it took 75 min. My connection is 30 megs up and I use about 10 of it for the broadcasts whereas a finished render out of my editing software is closer to 12 but the difference is negligible. Hope that all makes some sense hehe.

Whats the name of the songs at the end?
@mikemason59346 жыл бұрын
They are songs I got from the KZbin music library. I can't pull up the files now because I'm preparing to leave town but if you really want to know which ones shoot me a message or comment on the 1st of next month when I'm home and can pull up the show in Premiere.

This was back in 2018 before the world fell apart. Many of the demos that year were more social but this one everybody was just in awe so it was like a church in there and you hear every random noise.

@@TorchTalk Were you there filming this one Mike? I love going back to watch Cesare videos. A couple years ago when I started thinking about collecting all the equipment to get back into glass work I started watching his videos and of course one of my favorites John kabuki.
