Hahaha, there is pommeranian in the dog school we visit with our Lab border collie Mix. That dog is not vicious like Truffles. But her incessant high pitched barking drives all other people (and dogs!) crazy 😅.

She was not a bad owner. She just didn't know what to do with a dog behaving like this and how to correct them or stepping in. And she admitted she was at fault. It's always great to see owners actually listening to Cesar and showing a lot of improvement.

I wish people would not point fingers at unknown dogs. Try a clenched fist. Less dangerous with a small dog. Our dog had trouble by the neighbours 11 Yr old and toddler who is spoilt and prodded with fingers. Hence why I say clenched fist. It's not so threatening. The dog deals with it much better.

Chihuahuas make wonderful companions. They are easy to care for and require little grooming since the long-haired Chihuahuas' coats do not tangle easily. Being a small breed, they also have lower food requirements compared to larger dogs. Chihuahuas can be territorial, affectionate, and very attached to their owners. It’s always weird how families are terrorized by a dog. “I just don’t know what to do, he bites me the kids. I have to tip toe at night not to disturb him.” It’s rather ridiculous at times.

As a former Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso owner, I understand Small (toy) dogs get away with a whole lot of bad behaviors because they are cute, and they don't have what it takes to kill a human being. Most of the time, we as owners are most likely part of the problem. She said "the least she could do is move to another country, take Truffle suitcase, and run away". Dogs these cute are rarely given away by their owners, and would rather manage the behavior unlike large, active dogs... But it's little dogs like Truffle that provoke larger dogs to attack them.

my next door neighbour has a a male shih tzu and my chihuahua loves him, I call him her boyfriend. and she also had a sausage dog called Truffle, may she rest in peace. Its so easy for dogs to get along, and i think the reason I understand that is from watching you Cesar. Thank you for your teachings

I have the cutest and well behaved Shih tzu. Usually Shih tzu's are fond of barking but not him. Since he was young, he never showed any aggressive behaviors. He barely barks and never bites. He doesn't even bark when someone comes in the house. TBH... Idk if he even barks, never heard it. He's only a tad noisy when he's really hungry but its not a bark. He just sits or sleeps like a good boy at all times. I guess I'm just lucky to have an _Angel of a Shih Tzu!_ I LOVE him SO MUCH!!! 💕🐶

Her dog was part Pomeranian. That adds a whole new dimension to the dog's personality and temperament. I was surprised when I saw the title because I know Shih Tzus are sweet loveable little dogs. The part Pomeranian explains it all. They can be yappy and stubborn! 😀

my current girlfriend was the typical small dog owner before she moved in with me. absolute no control, always picking her chihuahua up when something happened or was about to happen etc. I showed her that by being the alpha amongst dogs, 90% of all the issues were resolved. My own dog loves me to bits but he knows the moment i assert alpha male dominance in the pack, he stands down and obeys. My girlfriend learned a lot by just looking how i did that and now her chihuahua is the example of what a chihuahua really is and not what mainstream made of the breed. people really need to learn that dogs are animals, not kids.

5:34...so in other words, Truffel is being an a..s.😛🤭I think some people don´t really want a dog, but more a living toy. That´s why they get themselves such tiny "furballs" and then treat them as a toy instead of as a dog- hence treat them in a wrong way. That´s why those tinies turn into little devils. 🙄Treat them as dogs and they behave as dogs, and no longer as spoiled little devils! 😉But in this video it was definitely nice to see how quickly Truffel and her owner both learned how to do this the RIGHT way...🤗

I have watched this show for years, but today is the first time that I have ever laughed at the dog. When Cesar was blocking the food bowl and Truffle went to snapping at him trying to be vicious, he was so funny. He is a cute little ball of fluff and it's hard to take him seriously.

Es ist erschreckend zu sehen wie unsicher sich jeder einzelne Hundehalter verhält. In jedem einzelnen Video von Cesar kann man sehen das Führung,Autorität und Stärke fehlt. Und sicherlich überträgt sich das über die Leine und den Hund. All diese dinge gepaart mit Liebe und Verständnis führen über lang oder kurz zum Erfolg. 😊

I don't understand how so many dog owners don't get that it's their responsibility to not let their dog lunge, bark and bite people. "People will try to pet him." Yah, it's your job to teach your dog so that this is not dangerous. People shouldn't assume that the dog will be okay with it, but it is not acceptable to have a dangerous dog in public, period.

When I saw the owner holding her dog like a child, I knew what part of the problem was. It may be cute and sound like a squeaky toy, but you cannot baby little dogs. Like any other dog, they need discipline. This dog was a diva and expected to be in charge!

Why would any dog owner go into a dog park carrying their dog?? And holding your dog lovingly after it bit you? That is rewarding awful behavior. I sometimes wonder if dogs like that are displaying a part of a person that they try to keep hidden from others. This is a control dog - insistent from always getting it's own way that it wants to continue to do so. I would give no rewards or treats of affection for awhile except when it did as it was asked or with good behavior. Nothing for bad behavior, definitely not being carried. Teach a dog from day one not to be food aggressive. I taught my puppy to actually give me his bone, or anything else. Hope the owner can maintain what Cesar taught her.

We saw why she had to carry the dog into the park, the dog shuts down and be dragged vs walk due to too much leash tension. Cesar and she covered it right after meeting, did you miss that?

I inherited my moms shihtzu. She was 10. Little poot bit me or anyone that got close to my mom. Mostly me because i was moms caretaker. I love that little ferocious dog. They can be a danger to themselves. Crystal pulled away from me and chased a huge pitbull and her owner down the road. They ran! I had to watch her so close. She was worth it. She was a wonderful dog. If she bit me i made her let me hold her. She got to where she'd kiss me after she bit me. She eventually quit after mom died.

I worked as a groomer's assistant for a couple summers for a friend of mine. We loved to see Shih Tzus come in bc they were usually the sweetest, best behaved dogs. This one...the dog from hell. Can't quite decide if its a dumb owner or puppy mill genetics, but...yikes!

this is 100% the owner not being the leader. Truffle is adorable, and the cuteness lets her get away with doing whatever she wants. The owner is timid and afraid of hurting truffle or her feelings so she didn't correct her behaviour. Look at quickly Truffle learned from Cesar! She's a smart little dog that just needed her owner to step up and accept the challenge :)

@@susannahfox7188I’m learning the signs of when she is going to “attack”. I know it’s from fear. I am her alpha in every situation, but this one. She does everything I ask and I can even divert her attention when other dogs come around now. But when she meets someone she will stand still and sometimes they can pet, at other times she lunges at the same person. No rhyme or reason to it.

Actually, Shitzu's are a breed that came from the pomeranian and the lhasa apso. The lhasa is a wonderful breed. The are originally from Tibet.

I lost my 15 years 9.5 month old Shih Tzu daughter less than 24 hours ago. She was the cutest and sweetest person ever. I am shattered and trying very, very hard to cope...came here to just see the Tzu.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my two Pekingese boys now I have a two year old shih tzu that is a challenge. I wouldn’t take anything for him. But he’s so jealous of me. Yet he’s a run away

I love Ceasar. I always had a choke chain for my dogs. It is an excellent training tool. When you are the leader, you can’t always be nice. Don’t be abusive. Be firm.

I just adopted an 11yr old longhair chihuahua with a napoleon complex. It is funny how often I can stop her in her tracks with "that's not cute!" She is in her 2nd week with me and already loves me for being attentive enough to her needs.

In germany dogs have legs. We don‘t carry them on our formarms . Exercises is so important!!!!!!

My shih tzu had food aggression. Every time as a pup when he acted aggressive i would take away his food bowl until he would understand that aggression equals no food. You got to train and wean this out of them when they re young else it is going to make things difficult especially with kids.

I always knew my moms dog was going to get me but i couldnt let her win. My mom never tried to discipline her. However,she was mostly sick so she let her go. I started showing crystal her "Good Girl" treat and telling her good girls get good girl treats. She learned quickly. She wasnt really vicious she just wanted her way.
