I would love to spend an hour with Linn, his clarity and ‘fist’ is perfection. I love this video. Thank you, Cesar, for showcasing this case and Linn. 🙏. Your son was great also. Well, I think it takes tons and tons of animal expertise and psychology to do that. Humans can control fellow humans, but going far into the realm of animals is a different thing. I learned lessons I never learned before. I don't have a dog at the moment. But this video is so valuable that the wisdom and knowledge I learned can also be applied to humans. I never thought dogs like that can be controlled. God gave you the wisdom to deal with animals. I know it takes an extremely sensitive listening ears, I mean, to listen to body language, etc. I'm gonna keep this video because I think I need to review it over and over. There are gems of ideas I can still get as I watch this anew. Thanks and God bless♥️♥️💯💯

Linn really whipped the owners into shape. Cesar's frustration was so visible, when he's asked them not to give affection when Junior is excited and they did, completely unthinkingly. What I’ve noticed from a lot of the people who adopt shelter dogs and come on the shows for help is that they only come in with love and affection for their animals. Then once the dog starts to display behaviors that the owners don’t realize they feed into, they immediately try to rationalize that as the dog’s unknown past and not how their actions help create that scenario in the first place. Like a savior kind of mentality where they couldn’t possibly be the root of the cause.

Something which never ceases to amaze me, is how so many of these dogs have been allowed to get into more than a single situation in which they have either lunged at, or attacked a person or another dog. Why, after the first occasion, don't they muzzle the dog to prevent a repetition??? We have taken into our home 7 mastiffs [different breeds] over a 25 year period. All were rescues, with absolutely nothing known about their backgrounds. Two had clearly been abused, were initially aggressive, & had never been in a house before ~ mountains of faeces & gallons of pee to be cleared up every day for several weeks on each occasion], but the others were just very scared, lost souls. You're spot on. With calm, confident but energetic, kind leadership you can have a happy, trustworthy dog. A major part of the problem, is that so many people choose a dog for its looks, & don't bother to research the breed to ascertain whether they, the dog, & their lifestyle will be compatible. Some people are just lazy, & are not prepared to put the work in.
