Cessna 172 25kt Crosswind Landing

Winds 230 at 25kt. To the left of the runway is a slopped uprising hill up into/along the entire runway, causing wave/vortices to get tossed up and over the runway causing alot of weird flow in ground affect hence the squirelly touchdown.

thx, this was one of those where letting go of them would give some wing lift or tire skidding to the right. was rly squirrely gusts.

Hold that airspeed and use a notch of flaps and keep that power up until you achieve the touch down point and roll it on the main left or right main tire

This was very gusty situation, footage is stabilized by new GoPro so hard to tell a bit. Came in wi the extra speed. Crosswind was nearly direct at 25-30, in those situations I refuse to use more than 15-20° of flaps. I had about 15° here. Up sloping hill along left side of runway so wind was very unclean. I was constantly holding that left side down but it got weird a few times, I was able to set left down here first. Thanks!
