I flew my parents up to Friday Harbor, Washington from Paine Field in Everett, Washington on a warm Sunday afternoon. Aircraft is BEFA's N2164Z, a 2003 Cessna 172SP.

Glad to see you are entering the pattern (basically) as you should. Flying over the runway (above the pattern) to the west and then turn a teardrop back to the east, then enter the downwind from a 45 degree at pattern altitude would be best for those who don’t have a radio. Although, Most would just call out a 10 mile final and screw it up for everyone else. So, Good job.
