Cessna 177RG Cardinal Nose Gear Overhaul

I remove the nose gear strut, replacing all the o-rings, backup rings etc. and then reinstall. My battery in one of my cameras died in the middle of some of it so I lost a bit of the procedure. McFarlane said the more appropriate gasket kit for the 177RG is p/n MCSK172-1F.
BTW, I am a licensed A&P mechanic.
