Beautiful flight. Just found your channel. Great piloting by you both. Looking forward to more content. And, congratulations on passing 500 hours. Huge accomplishment. Greetings from Shreveport, KSHV.

My wife and I have been watching you two for years and we love your content and style. As it happens, we made an impulsive trip to Branson this past weekend and since we were "in the neighborhood", we took the opportunity to fly our C172XP into KAAO this afternoon. I had to smile when I pulled up the ASOS and heard the now-familiar familiar preamble: "Colonel James Jabara Airport...". Thanks for the positive example that you set for general aviation and keep up the good work!

Oh wow…. Love it, I would have said let us know and we will meet up with you, but we are sailing in Tahiti/Bora-Bora for the next couple of weeks….. But give us a heads up next time! What area do y’all fly out of???
@v3ctor172 ай бұрын
@@Parr4theCourse Thanks for your quick response. We were hoping that you were having a good time somewhere! Seriously, this was a completely random and unplanned trip (except for the thorough weather briefing and check of the NOTAMs!). We will be here until Tuesday morning and then will return to KLEX, but now that we know how to get here, I'm certain we'll be back! BTW, let us know if you two are ever in central KY, too!

I got my PPL at Augusta and yes they filled in the pond at the end of the old runway and lengthened it as well, past the road that ran East/West

You might find my comment strange but there was a divine reason you had problems with your plane. You were grounded for a reason and were then able to resume your trip safely later. Congratulations with the 500hrs. 😎

Congrats on the 500 hour mark. I believe there are some statistics that say you’re most dangerous from the 200-500 mark, I guess due to complacency. You’ve made it over the hump! Keep up the good record, I vote for a bigger or faster plane!

When I was a student at La Tech in Ruston, one of my friends was in the aviation program, he used to take me up with him, we would split the cost of a rental. This was in 1982, wasnt that expensive and I shutter to think what it costs today.
