That was the kids room they were her sister's kids a boy n girl, marlin ended up having an affair n married the girl whom was his adopted daughter,which is what ended his marriage to his wife,

He has 2 houses,the other one has an underground pool ,this house had one but it was filled in,I live in ponca,n I love going here always something new to see,the tunnel kind of freaked me out,but it was neat it was built so they could hide during the coalition, it lead from the second kitchen where a secret room is where they played cards n drank.

Having a friend wave at you as you fly by seems like such a small gesture, but I find myself smiling and enjoying that. I’m now planning a flyby of my home. Hopefully I can get the wife to come out and wave.

We spent 3 weeks exploring the islands , the flight is so long that I would go unless you plan to stay at least 2 weeks!

I totally agree! Even a month wouldn’t be too long. There are so many islands and they are all pretty accessible. Lots of hiking you could do that we didn’t have time to add in! It’s hard not to stay in the gorgeous water!

We LOVE Italy and have been several times. (We would go back tomorrow as well.) Croatia was so amazing!!! It’s been on our list to visit, but we had no idea what was in store. We enjoyed the sailing and all our inland adventures. Keep watching - our last couple of days were epic!

Happy 41st Anniversary! We will have our 41st in April, if my wife puts up with me until then! We are thinking about a trip to the Florida Keys for our’s. Nothing nearly as adventurous as you guys! We spent our 40th in South Carolina at a really nice house on Lake Keowee.

@ it was emotional for sure. We went with a church group and stayed in the best hotels with guides. Never could have put together such a trip on our own. There is nothing like walking were Jesus walked!!our first grandchild was about to be born and we went to the wailing wall and and put her name on a paper and prayed for her. She is a freshman at Texas A&M today

We would love to visit Israel! We wouldn’t normally visit a place as part of a tour, but Israel would be the exception. I have heard such amazing stories from those that have taken one of the Christian tours.

It’s a trade off when you travel commercial, less freedom but more time for each other. Love Italy and the architecture there! We didn’t go hungry and we didn’t show all of it either🤪

It’s always hard to fly commercial and have no control over your own schedule. We definitely ate well during the entire trip - the food in Italy is always amazing. Every time I see old buildings torn down in the US, I think about how old the buildings in Europe are! They just remodel and make them work for today’s lifestyles.

The IFR rating is always a game changer. There were a few holes we could have gotten through, but it was so much more time efficient/easier to get the IFR clearance and just pop through.

Great demonstration of requesting pop up IFR, reporting cloud bases, maneuvering for a standard visual approach, and radio communications in the pattern. Thanks for allowing us to come along. I don't recall Janis talking about being hungry on this flight. Mark it on the calendar!

When I was a student at La Tech in Ruston, one of my friends was in the aviation program, he used to take me up with him, we would split the cost of a rental. This was in 1982, wasnt that expensive and I shutter to think what it costs today.

I know what you mean about that heat. Very hard to balance. We keep ours 50% on the feet and 50% on the windshield so we dont get the burning feet issue but we're constantly turning it off and on and trying to find The Sweet Spot which seems very small

Save your time and money. I didn't grow up in NE LA, but I've lived here since 2002 and can tell you it's a religion to these people that I just don't get. I guess it's whatever you grow up with and your heart stays with it! My wife loves it.
