@birthoftime Yes this is an incredibly quiet engine. It has a three blade prop and a decent motorcycle style exhaust muffler. That fly past was done at 75% power (cruise setting). The engine has a turbo charger so it will keep its sea-level climb performance right up till 17-18,000 feet. You will need oxygen! They are quite popular with skydiving companies for this reason and also that you can pull the power and come down at Vne and not worry about shock cooling because it's water cooled.

If that is the Thielert compression ignition engine, then I'm impressed with how quiet your low and over was. What is the climb and cruise like at 8000'.
