In 2006 I tried out Mooney, Cirrus, and Columbia 400. By far the Columbia 400 got my nod. I owned one for 7 years. It gave way to a TBM 850. But it's a great plane and better than the others in its class IMHO

Couldn't agree more. For me it was a 350 (didn't need the turbo for my mission). It's built like a tank and what an amazing handling plane.

A superb video again! 😊Beautiful plane. But honestly: If I think of Cessna, that reminds me the 150,152, 172...etc. But not the TTx... It hasn't got a typical "Cessna-shape" for me🤔

Beautiful plane, a shame Cessna wasn’t successful with it as it was a better aircraft than a SR22.

The two 14 inch screens are not touch screens only the smaller screen between the seats is touch screen.

What an aircraft shows on the speedometer and what you can actually get out of it are two different things. Cessna 172 aircraft don’t go much over 110 indicated.

Nice video, thank you.but showing a turboprop equipped Lancair when talking about the Continental engine is a little out of place…

haha man I knew that someone will spot a turboprop I left there! nice catch! Well, thats a sign for me that you actually watched the vid closely, and I appreciate that!

Aren’t those running an IO550?

The resemblance to the Cirrus SR 22 is striking. Who copied whom?

Lancair released the IV in 1991, the basis for the Columbia. I’d say it was the Columbia with the og design
