I remember Ben from Classic was selling these for $499 and Century had a $50 rebate about 6 years ago so $450 with 8eight 20 rd mags and a 5rd mag. Crazy deal. Now $799-$899 with 1 Mag lol.

@@raptorman6589 I have both C308 and PTR, 700 for the C308 and right about 1300 for the PTR. With the PTR it is a brand new rifle that is a clone and can use HK parts. The C308 is made from new and used mil surplus parts and some of the parts are not compatible with HK/PTR parts and so you may need some that are specific to the Cetme (HK made some design changes when they adopted it). I am glad i bought my PTR when i did because now it looks like the price of them is about 1500. The PTR is a much nicer rifle, the problem with the c308 or most any century gun is it is a gamble on what you are gonna get.

I got mine back when they were around $600 bucks! I love this gun. Mine is set up just like yours with just a Burris lpvo. About to put a new timney 2 stage trigger in it. Nothing else needs doing, it’s extremely accurate, reliable, and recoils very light for a 308.

I have used the G3 for many years now. They are cheap but reliable and perform very well with minimum care. Great Video. thanks for the share

@@hlam998 Yes indeed they are VIOLENT than any other similar rifle such as FN FAL, the M-16 Series and the famous AK. But they are accurate and no gas issues as compared to FN FAL. The 308 round itself has a kick to it which the roller delayed compensates to become most reliable feature. Pakistan Ordinance Factory (ARMY Based Gun Manufacturer) prepares them under license from HK, current cost is around 300k for a semi Auto version.

You and I must shop at the same store! Lol I have that same exact rifle. It's been good for me so far. Have about 150rds through it. Worked great with factory HK mags but didn't like the steal KCI mags.

The biggest complaint i have about HK style rifles how dirty they are after cleaning them, you could soak them in a caustic solution, then pressure wash then put it in a sonic cleaner then rinse with high pressure water run a patch through it and it'll still come out dirty. 99% of feeding issues can be traced to mags

Yo creo que tú no sabes lo qué dices yo lo tuve como arma reglamentaria en mi servicio militar durante dos años en España y solo había que limpiarlo y engrasarlo después de disparar con él y no me ha fallado ni una sola vez claro que nosotros usábamos el auténtico el calibre 7,62 x51 ahora como los han modificado para hacerle todos los calibres y venderlos para la caza y el tiro pues igual puede que influya pero es un arma 100% fiable mójalo mételo en barro con frío con calor da igual sigue tirando intenta hacerlo con los demás 😂😂🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦

I would love to do it this weekend! But the weather has hold me back! Every day it’s above 98 degrees since May 15… it’s going to be 100+ for the next 10 days!😳man I couldn’t take the heat like this anymore lol. I am getting old!

If you get the chance buy one, just clean it really good then lube it up before you send the first round through it

How close were you and what caliber were you shooting when you got hit by splashback?

I was shooting the AR .223 rem at 10 yards! That damn bullet fragments were ricochet and hit me in the thigh like an inch from my balls shack! I was like F- That
