My piece almost has like a water fill line. There’s a ring of purple around the bottom and when I fill it to the top of that ring, it’s perfect

My downstem that came with the piece has long ridge lines down it with that part being frosted but then at the bottom it actually has a line ridge thing that is the exact spot for the water in the piece. It’s a 14 inch tall, 9mm thick beaker from Milkyway and the line is so helpful since I hit and refresh the water every bowl.

My policy for bongs is maximum filtration. Take a big rip without the cone piece. If water doesn't go up the chamber you can add more, if it does just remove some.

My main piece is a 14" (I think) bong with a splashguard and a double honeycomb with one of them being reversed. The glass is so thick I've dropped it several times off of my computer desk and no chips or cracks have happened. It's made by custom creations which I think is based in Maine or New Hampshire

My whole thing with it is I pull flower bowls out pretty aggressively, so that burst of air kinda keeps my hit from airing out, it all just comes up in a neat stack when I pull the bowl, although I have to run a bit less water, this on a 12 inch beaker

You’re actually supposed to fill it to the top and drink it like a water bottle. Once it is at the ideal water level to take a hit you are ready to rip! After you have finished your session dump out the water and fill it all the way to the top!😎 now you have a clean piece and a new water bottle to sip on before your next rip! Cewpins personally gave me these tips, this is to insure you sip enough before you rip (healthier) and to insure you smoke at a pace that does not hurt your tolerance! /s

I've been wondering about this. I've had edibles a few times. Couple of those were made with regular flower and had 20 mg of THC each. Had one made with concentrate and it was also 20mg. Don't know why, but the concentrate one just seemed a bit more like a sucker punch when it hit compared to the flower ones

Well doesn't the amount of water depend on how much THC it keeps in the water or anything else you smoke in it? If you have a lot of water in it your more likely going to have to smoke more and more bc water does trap the thc where as no water at all you'd get higher off that hit than a hit with water. So wouldn't less amount of water trap less thc?

For smaller rigs 4-6 oz of water for medium is like 6-10 and large could be anywhere from 12-24 oz but usually around 16 for larger. At least in my experience

I think for the most part just filling water right above the percolator holes does the job. Sometimes I add more water if I want a slower hit that needs a harder pull.

You should definitely film your piece while you are bubbling it and also ripping it to see which water types and levels give you the best rips depending on what you want. Boiled water distilled water tap water. U can run ur pieces flooded or even dry!!! It all depends on hundreds of rips and meticulous changes to have the perfect rip for your bong. You also have to know the different rip techniques for sizes of bongs. Honestly I think I should write a paper on it
