Thank you for taking the time to do this stitch slowly. I have seen it used before but couldn't get it to work for me, until now. Am going to use it to cover ugly, worn (yarn) doll's hair: the braided look!

Love this stitch! Can't wait to try it. I have to darn a sweater and I think if I tighten this up, it will look really good. But if it fails, now I know how to Scotch darn, thanks to you! 😁❤

Update: It worked fantastically! This stitch nicely covers the ~2" hole in my sweater. As a leftie I found it easiest to work the project upside-down, and I would also really recommend anyone trying this to make sure you don't run out of thread mid row! Thanks again for sharing this amazing stitch.
