I'll keep it in mind when we get our next haul! Anything in specific you'd be looking for in the video?

@@watershedflyshop it would be awesome to get a little more info on the the rods. What lines you like on them. Scandi, skagit and midbelly performance. etc. enjoy the content. Cheers.

Ok, first I love ❤ my 8134. As you say, casts like a dream and mine has good karma - have yet to take it on a trip where I got skunked. Days yes, trips (knock on my wooden head) no. But what’s the value of that box? Never mind UPS, need a Wells-Fargo truck to make that delivery!

if you like burkie trout speys you need to try the 5125-4. Bit more niche for bigger water, bigger fish but such a fun rod.

Does Burk make 14' rods for longer lines? Have a 14' Sage (butter), would love a 14' 7wt or even a 16" 9/10 wt for long lines (80 plus feet) on the upper columbia (long swings are the key).

Yes they do. they make a 14'2 8wt and a 14'1 7wt

They have a 15,2 #9 which is relatively new. It cast 80feet easily, got plenty of power but is still super smooth

Are these rods 100% USA made?
@watershedflyshop8 ай бұрын
That is correct sir!! Only manufacturer that can say that right now as far as sourcing materials and building goes.
