In this video we would look at the chapter of Intercorporate Investments in subject FSA in CFA Level 2.
In CFA Level 1, we saw a glimpse about this chapter in the form of learning about Investments in Financial Assets, Investments in Associates, Investments in Subsidiaries and how to identify them by the percentage of stake held in that company.
In this chapter of CFA Level 2, we will look into details of all these investments and how the company records them in IFRS and US GAAP.
We would learn them with practical real life corporate examples and with logic for every concept.
The effect of these recognition methods on different financial ratios is also considered here.

Sir in last question q ,31 how will be NCI same in both partal goodwill and full goodwill as in full goodwill it will be 320(640*50%) but in partial it will be net of fair value of asset so it should be 290 (580*50%)
