Sir, i have a question - 13:26 - why does the issuer repay 1100 for a 1000 value bond?

Siddharth Jain May be the bond amount is invested in the bank and the redemption is done along with the interest.

+Siddharth Jain Buying back at the rate of 1100, it's still beneficial for the issuer. Otherwise, issuer has to pay the interest till maturity if he won't buy back it earlier.
