Facts. The SEC is the best. The bad part is we usually cannibalize each other by the end of the season. Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Miami none of these teams could play SEC week in week out.

SEC ain't what it use to be. Welcome to the new landscape of college football. Going to be a rude awakening for the conference.

You have Gabriel on before talking about UT and you don’t ask him about Heupel?! Heupel recruited him to UCF out of high school. Huge fan but that seems like a missed opportunity.

It is the JD types that acknowledge how the NIL era has shifted Talent, created a Free Agency Dynamic in CFB resulting in Saban's departure ;) That are also Determined to Deny its Impacts on a Teams like Miami, others-- aka Holstein @ Pitt making them better. JD has Miami closer to 10 than #1. These JD types insist On Selling everyone that the SEC is immune and Still Better than any other Conference. JD is determined to sell us all as many 3 Loss SEC teams as possible making the playoff's!

Ryan Day is 44-0 vs unranked teams. Kalen Deboer lost to Vandy and Kirby Smart lost to South Carolina at home in a game where Jake Fromm threw 50 passes. True dominance. Greatness is taking care of business, the big games are just coin flips.

~ You don't need to be sold on Oregon.... #1 in the nation....The Nike NIL money is speaking for itself.. That's why they're pulling top 3 recruiting classes and are #1 in the country in recruiting next year already. Plus Oregon And Ohio State are the kings of the transfer portal.... We get it though. You're a casual and haven't figured out this is a new sport now. Oregon is going to be the top dog going forward.

The Big 10 is the best because there is a consistent identity. Iowa and Wisconsin run the ball, PSU goes 10-2, OSU produces receivers, Michigan is a boa constrictor etc. LSU and Auburn can’t decide if they wanna go 12-0 or 6-6 (or worse). Big 10 teams can replicate year in and year out. Natties are nothing if you can’t replicate. Every accomplishment is nothing if you can’t replicate

That’s this year. Conferences are built by programs not teams. Outside of UGA and Bama none of those teams will have a sustainable future. Rather be Penn St than LSU

Dan Lanning has taught his locker room to look inward for approbation. The media and the fan base are very emotional and they are up and down on a team but as a team you have to stay even keel and not get to high or low. The media and the fan base do have an effect on the players no matter how much they try to shut things out. Its human nature to want to be accepted and praised and the players are no different. If the media and fan based would not have gotten on the Oregon O line play the first two weeks, they might have stayed in their lazy condition and they might have lost to Ohio State. It does light a fire under players when they see negative media coverage after they play lazy and undisciplined football. Dan thinks that one day they love you, the next day they will throw you under the bus. That is the media and some fans but even that works to the benefit of teams that have real talent but who like to take snaps off. Now, we don't see Oregon players taking snaps off. They are playing at a high level and the media might be able to take some credit for that although Dan and the team will not want to admit it.
