CFD-DEM simulation of gas cyclone separator (effect of solid flow rate).wmv

It shows the comparison of the solids flow patterns under different solids flow rates. Clearly, strands flow patterns are observed, irrespective of solid loading ratios. However, the details are different. It can be seen that the turns of solids in the cyclone decrease with the increase of solid loading rate. The "strands" are wider when solid loading ratio is high. Hi! I´m trying to simulate de efficiency of a cyclone I design for college, and I just read you used ansys for this. Do you know where I can find how to configure properly the model to do that? I´m very begginer with Ansys and I´m having a lot of doubt about how to do it. I were looking for tutorials, books, and practicals examples with no luck. Thanks

Loading rate is the ratio of mass flowrate of solids at the cyclone inlet to that of air.
