Hi! Thanks again for the videos! It is an amazing work. Have you published any material regarding the models for Laminar-turbulent flows? For example some (maybe most?) wind turbine blades use laminar airfoils, do you have any materials regarding the appropriate models that capture the transition Laminar-turbulent?

I didn't calculate the pressure coefficient. Here, I calculated only the global variables.

Hi, have you combined the sliding mesh and overset mesh together? I want to simulate a floating wind turbine but haven't found a similar test case in star CCM+. Also how can we model the mooring lines in Star CCM any suggestions?

To simulate rotor rotation, I implemented the sliding mesh technique. Regarding the mooring lines, I believe it is possible to model them as external forces as cataneray lines.

Have you calculated the noise with the FW-H model in STAR-CCM+? I would like to know if the Loading noise in the FW-H calculation is the Vortex noise? I have been troubled for a long time, I hope I can get your answer, thank you very much!

how do you calculated power of wind turbine?

You need to create an expression to monitor the power generated by the wind turbine. The power is the product of the torque and rotor rotational velocity. For more information, have a look at this tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZKmoHWtbd6hnq8
