Cyclonic separation (by using centrifugal force) is the unique property of cyclone separator but it is not necessary that all air separators use centrifugal force, there are many ways to separate air. Explaining in brief, every cyclone separator are air separator but an air separator is not necessarily to be a cyclone separator i.e, there may be a situation when air is separated into its primary composition by using different ways. Sir, if in this problem the primary phase is water instead of air, what is to be changed in solution strategy? Is it only to change water in place of air or there will be change in solution methodologies. Please help.

I don't think that the mixing water for this model is required. Because this method is only based for mixing with air. The separator separates the air from the particles and we get the by products from the bottom of the separator in cake form. This is the beauty of the design of this separator. Some cyclone separators used in boilers to separate water from steam so that pure steam can bypass in pipe and hit the turbine blade. But these types of separator is different in design and the analysis is also different. I hope I have answered to your question.
