I'm a Lions fan. The CFL is a great game. It can turn on a dime. No lead is safe until the game is over. The Lions are a good team, who had a bad game. The defence has been so good this year, they were bound to have a stinker. Their number 1 QB Vernon Adams is out. I think that Bombers fans might know what that's like? Sure would be nice if Nathan Rourke was still here. I think the Lions will bounce back.

Well that was surprising. Winnipeg is a great team and I expected far better than their last game, but BC's D usually is second to none. Very strange to see them like this. While it was a relatively short week for them, that doesn't really excuse this. Hopefully they take this lesson and come back stronger.

I notice that BC develops a lot of bad habits when they play weaker teams, they should run wind sprints for half an hour to smaten them up. The first game win the qb played a perfect game. not so much this time.

Coming back after the season ended, this is kind of where BC started to fall apart. They were able to get it together near the end of the season but until this game their defense was the best I’ve ever seen in my life. Bombers did their homework before this one for sure

You had to know the Bombers were going to come out full force in this one, after losing to BC at home previously. Without their starting QB, BC had no chance.

I don't think Vernon Adams Jr. is _actually_ a better quarterback than Dane Evans (who helped the Ti-Cats to two consecutive Grey Cup Game appearances, in 2019 and 2021), or that this was the reason BC had no chance. Sure, Adams has been playing pretty well, but his QB rating is only 98.1 so far, while Evans averaged ~98 when he was healthy and starting in Hamilton. BC beat Winnipeg in week 3 because of their *defense,* and the main impact players who made Collaros (the 2-time reigning MOP) look average a few weeks ago were all playing this past Thursday evening. Obviously, once Evans himself was injured, this game was effectively over, but by then, BC was behind 3 scores, and they'd shown no ability to score offensive TDs against the Bombers up to that point (so Evans remaining uninjured would have not likely produced a different result). Winnipeg may be more inconsistent in 2023 than they were last year, but they had a point to prove, and I don't think anything was going to stop them. Plus, their coaches made the necessary adjustments after being humiliated on June 22, and clearly Rick Campbell had no answer. They play each other again in Vancouver on October 6th - should be a good one!

BC needs new corner i been saying this for year now, Lee and Peters arent it they too old,slow and just bad. Also BCs OC forgot how to call plays. Man i miss Jordan Williams such L trade they made. The final time will actually be in the Western Final. Bombers sucked in the first match and B.C. sucked tonight. Next game could very well decide who finishes first overall in the west, but the important game will be the Western Final. FYI … the fan noise at tonight’s game was at a playoff level. Collarus is the only reason for any of BB success , better hope he stays healthy cause with out him Winnipeg is a 9 and 9 team at best , if he goes down the bombers will be joining the other teams that otherwise would have had a good season if not for the QBs being taken out due to injury.

Winnipeg have (by far) the best uniforms. BC uniforms always suck. I'm having trouble getting use to the baby blue Argo uniform. If they weren't winning, they'd be having a lot more comments about that colour choice.
