I have been a CFL fan since I was 15 yr old. I am 68 yr old now. you do the math. I am now living in Brasil Last yr was the 1st yr I have missed the Grey Cup Game ! And what an amazing game it was ! I got a replay in May 2023 ! Best Grey Cup game I have seen in MANY YEAR S ! WAY BETTER THAN THE NFL GAME ! 😮 I am HOPEING TO CATCH THE GAME THIS YEAR ! Mike.😂

I missed the game because I went to the Stampede here in Calgary. I was looking forward to watching the highlights when I got home without knowing the score. What’s the point of watching highlights if we already know the final score. 🙄

@robinshoulders444 Yes, Ironic the Raiders traded Ray Chester to the Colts for Bubba Smith. My parents and neighbors were highly upset about that. But, Chester bounced back to the Raiders to help win a Super Bowl in 1980 with Jim Plunkett, so it all worked out

2:34 ish It be better if it went OB by the 1 yard line. No score but Calgary would have to try to get out on the endzone, risk giving up a safety or punting away giving Winnipeg a good yard position to work with. So imho, it would have been better if it wasn't a single in this case.

It's a debate on which game is better (this or EE/SSK the other day). While the point difference is more than 1 (EE could have won by that too btw), it still has great plays and such. Also one team leds but the other comes back and wins :) So it's debatable...

crazy in the 4th Bombers had a 9+ min drive, which in turn tanked the Cgy D-line. It didn't look good in the first half. But the Bombers did their thing and pulled out a win!

If Calgary had played the whole game like their first quarter they might have one. On the other hand if Winnipeg had played the whole game like their first quarter they probably would have lost. I'm not a Bombers fan but this game shows how good teams learn from their mistakes, adjust their strategies and go on to win wile other teams that are just as talented fail to learn and adjust and get beat. The Stamps have the talent to be GC bound but they have to learn that lesson. BTW I am also not a Stamps fan but enjoy watching all the games in the CFL regardless of who is playing.

The THREE blocking from behind penalties I saw that could have been called on the field goal return were a bit much to stomach but I've become accustomed to seeing poor officiating. Not surprisingly with the Bombers as the most-oft beneficiaries, no matter who I'm watching them play. As for Dickenson, he was creative early in his coaching career, but now he's old-school predictable. What I hadn't fully realized before was that he prematurely heralded his new QB as the face of the Stampeders. For the supposed QB gurus in Calgary, that's not working out according to plan... whatsoever. Maier looks lost, confused and throws a really piss poor ball... hardly the stuff of legends.
