Great start by the Riders. Offense, defense and special teams all played great in the first half. Glad that they hung on for the win. Going to 4 & 6 would have been a disaster with two Winnipeg games coming up.

I enjoyed this game. I also enjoyed not seeing any cult flags until the Ottawa game. There’s some players from this game that are probably still at home in the bathtub full of ice.

Right side of Lions front four had a rough night. Four holds, beat cold last play. Some dropped balls the Lions receivers usually snag. Some bold holds by Sask to stop sacks right in front of the head official no calls (x3 really bad ones). No idea why the run game is non existent? So many penalties! Two dirty hits on the QB (oh, and they were dirty cheap ones). Sask special team coverage was outstanding. Outstanding circus catches by Sask receivers (x2). Five sacks, out standing.

Bc lions got away with holds on 2 of their touchdowns, tge refs call a fair game the score is 34-15

The Bombers will have their hands full if Saskatchewan plays like this in their upcoming games. I'm very surprised that BC didn't take this one. Horrible turnout for the game which tells me they are charging way to much for tickets.

Good on Saskatchewan Roughriders !!! They played hardball. BC Lions are overrated. A third string quarterback outperformed BC's overrated hot shot Vernon Adams. BC has no running game at all. Their running back is a lightweight and easy to shut down.

Much of that was due to turnovers. Starting on the Lions 30 and 20 yard lines helps. B.C. almost came back in the fourth quarter and were within 2 points.

Its why winnipeg will be representing the west this year, bc doesnt have a running game and you need it in cold weather, plus they are arrogant, cocky and try to show off to the opposing fan base.....plus the lions are undisciplined.

Coming from a die hard Riders fan, BC is absolutely not overrated. They just had a bit of a sub par performance, the fumbles and poor O-Line are not normal. I was speechless when the Riders won it
