Tremendous Grey Cup!! Better yet was the Riders beating the EE in the Western final which I was fortunate enough to attend at Commonwealth. So Good

If you ever get a chance watch the 89' Grey cup classic edition on ESPN Classic, its a near full length version of the original broadcast where you can see some classic footage of the crowd having a time, people hammered as Fuck beer and Cigarette in hand, just screaming and having a time inside the Sky Dome (Rogers center). What a classic football game by all rights. Underrated Grey cup imo, Also this kind of matchup is a classic example of footage you can show to football fans that have never seen a CFL game before.

I was season ticket holder at the Skydome and was at this game. Smoking was never allowed in the Dome.

I still can't believe they used to play on astro-turf like that. All it is is green carpet. There's no padding, they might as well be playing the game in the parking lot. It's a miracle more players didn't get hurt when they fall hard. I know they're padded but..
