Great game. It happens in a lot of sports. One team gets a large lead at the beginning of the game, then stops playing. Its like they think they have already won the game. If a team is able to get a large lead in the first half of the game, what makes them think that the other team can't do the same in the second half. Crazy. Once again, CFL is fun to watch. 🇨🇦
@stanschmenge196524 күн бұрын
I don't think they quit playing, I think Montreal made some adjustments and got their game together in the second half. Montreal is the defending champs and Calgary was 6-12 last year. You are right in saying the CFL is fun to watch tho, it was an entertaining game.

I just realized because i never watch Montréal that there endzone is very weird with the corners
@teo_heel24 күн бұрын
It's a McGill University stadium that has a running track, that's why end zones are slightly cut but CFL allows that. Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium also used to have running tracks and cut corners of the end zones but they got rid of them.

What a game. Als were down by 14 at some point (Stamps were leading 23-9 after their third TD scored by Begelton). And they completely shut down Stamps in the second half.
@user-pp1ln8lr5l25 күн бұрын
Calgary just pulled a Ti-cat, had a big lead, and did nothing after that. Shameful.
@broznar101924 күн бұрын
Als good coaching, they did not break, plugging away with FG when drives stalled. Huge play (besides the extra point block for a return safety) was going for the FG at the end of the half on the calgary 3 yard line instead of going for it risk coming up short.

it was as if the refs were trying to assist Montreal like they do the new thugs of the league, the Lions now…very one-sided refereeing obviously, but what hurt the Stamps far more was having a coach and a QB who are NOT on the same page at all…Maier plays below average because he knows that clown Dave Dickenson needs to be replaced by someone who cares about winning…congrats to the Als for the win definitely, but there are BIG CHANGES necessary in Cowtown….

Calgary quarterback throws to slow, puts his receivers in jeopardy of being blindsided by hard hits.
@benvolman497624 күн бұрын
Everyone thinks it was a great game. Calgary tried very hard to lose it. They were in the prevent defense the whole second half. All Montreal had to do was dump it off to the running back and there wasn't a linebacker within twenty yards of him, they all took deep drops and left him wide open. Same as the wide outs, defense playing way off. Dickenson a fool for letting bo Levi go and going with Mairer,
@teo_heel24 күн бұрын
Still it was a great game. Even if some people that Calgary tried to lose.
