You didn’t mention anything about the fact that it doesn’t come with any instructions, which is why I had to watch your video for almost 6 minutes to find out if that red light turns green when it’s fully charged
@cfldriven2 жыл бұрын
Mark, I did show everything that was in the blister pack at 1:10, but in hindsight I should have mentioned it. Thanks for the input.

I wish you would’ve said how long it took to charge
@cfldriven2 жыл бұрын
@@ginavenegas491 Sorry about that, I just plug it in, and by the time I remember it fully charge. You can always use the light without having to wait for it to fully charge. Will make an effort to include recharge time going forward. Thank you for watching.

Have one ...but the rechargeable battery doesnt last ..once you charge it at the beginning it gives out poweful light after 5 minutes it goes from powerful to an ok ordinary light ..have to keep charging it to give out powerful light
@cfldriven Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that, I just ran a 15 minute test using the center and two upper lamps and did not see any difference in light output. Have you tried just using Alkaline batteries?
@chevelleflorida2 ай бұрын
I just read an article in Runner's World that indicated that most such lights decrease the lumens after about 5 minutes in order to save battery life. The assumption is that one's eyes adjust to darkness after 5 minutes and doesn't need it to be as bright.
@changjiangliu5951 Жыл бұрын
You can adjust the brightness continuously if you hold down the bottom, which is very useful.

Chang thank you for sharing this useful tip. With the exception of the red LEDs, holding down the button will dim all the other lighting modes.

FYI the rachet gear tabs broke off after a few months of light daily use. My Coasts made similar have lasted years.

Thank you for sharing about Coasts, it a shame the ratchet is the weak point to a useful headlamp.

Thank you so much. I am Trying to see where the batteries goes.
@cfldriven2 жыл бұрын
At the top of the unit there is a clip that will separate the light head from the back cover. Don't confuse with the piece that the head strap goes through, it is in front of that. Carefully lift up on the clip and separate and there is the battery compartment. You can remove the rechargeable battery and replace it with AAA alkaline batteries.

How long does it take to charge?
@cfldriven13 күн бұрын
Paul, good question to which I don't have an answer to because I just throw it on the charger after use and go about doing other things. At some point I noticed it is charged and I put it away. Sorry I could not provide a more definite answer. Thank you for watching.

Yours is missing the eco mode, that is the spot but less bright.
@cfldriven Жыл бұрын
Leopoldo, the only time my spot gets less bright is after running it for 20 or so minutes. I just checked it and this eco function is not on my model. Thank you for watching and sharing this info.

What is a “seed” program?

Good question, a product review program by Home Depot. It is by invitation only, HD choses from customers who submit product reviews. Thank you for watching.

Lod, congrat on getting it on sale. I used it while in the attic and except for the hard to find switches the light was great. The ability to go from spot to flood comes in very handy. Thanks for sharing.

A free product can influence an influencer’s opinion, that’s why they give it away
@cfldriven2 жыл бұрын
Mark, I'm sure there is some truth in your statement, but as mentioned in the video I do have concerns with the ratchet mechanism and how it could be a point of failure. For me whether I buy the product or it is provided has no bearing on whether I like or dislike the product. If you go through some of the videos on this channel you found products that I don't recommend. As you mentioned I too have come across reviewers who only have the kindest words for everything they review, these folks do a disservice to their audience, the product, and their self integrity.
