I have one and have been riding about 2000km. I love it and it works fine so far. Suspension is very good, but factory setting is a bit hard for onroad use so i had to soften it up for it to be comfortable. Gearingbox and gearing is a bit short so it gets very revy on the highway. I fixed that with a 15 tooth front sprocket and now it's perfect. RPM are just below 5000rpm at 90km/h. Throttle is a bit sensitive from closed to open just like every other bike with euro emission exhaust regulations. A good map takes care of that issue. Other then that the bike is really solid and feels WAY more premium then the price suggests.

Have you checked the fuel consumption?
@jayvenso5 ай бұрын
@@nobleabraham6498 On average with a heavy throttle i'm on 4.5l/100km but if i drive sensible it will be around 3.8-4.0/100km After i changed to a 15 tooth on the front sprocket i get even better milage. Haven´t driven very much since i changed but in 90km/h fuel consumption is around 3.5-3.8 on a straight road. So i will absolutely go well above 400km on a single tank if i drive sensible.

Oh, I believe that the 'MT' stands for - Multifunction Tourer, or Multi-use Tourer. Just what I wanted. A bike that is not too heavy and does everything well, and some things very well if the reports are anything to go by.

@@hondaslex At about 40% of the price too. Some truth in what you say, It is hard not to think that CFMoto looked hard at the successful Tenere when they designed the MT. Got 1400 on my. This is my dirt capable ADV purchase (modified Rally 300 is the more dirt machine). Short final gearing is a miss on CFMOTOs part. Yes, i have 15t up front, it's better, but it's a compromise. The gear box is ok. It's not great, however. Finding neutral takes little skill, muscel memory. Really snatchy off idle fueling, cfmoto released update, it makes the bike way nicer. At 75 kgs (street clothing), the front springs are on a stiff side. Ye, backed out preload all the way. Most fasceners are tightened to "max" torqu. This seems to be a Chinese thing (my CFMOTO Papio is the same way). When taking off the skid plate, the lower support bars spring out good 2 cm. A strap is required to bring them in before you can re install the paper thin, metal skid plate. Yes, the exhaust is on the loud side. It is a great bike, all the little features add up. Lets see how it will hold up to kms.
@Jonathan-L5 ай бұрын
Hopefully CFMoto will get the fuel & spark mapping sorted to overcome the snatchyness. I'd also expect an aftermarket anti-glare film to become available to eliminate reflections on the screen. Overall, it looks to be nice bike. Now I'm waiting for Kove to offer their ADV model(s).

Very nice video. On paper this bike apparently is the unicorn I am looking for. My only concerns are reliability/durability and comfort on highway, as I'd use it for double purpose (60% on/40% off road). Greetings from Spain. Sweden is beautiful!
@SamOnABikeSweden5 ай бұрын
Thanks for your kind words! Yes for me this bike feels like the unicorn! But im with you about the durability concerns! This is an unproven brand, i don't know about this engine but I know that the KTM790 and the CFMoto 800mt shares the same engine construction and lately it has been som real concerns about the camshafts of these engines, the same problem is conected to KTM790, CFMOTO 800 mt and Husqvarna Norden 901. Google it and you will find. I belive that the 450mt engine is a uniq CFMOTO design... But im not shure... so keep that in mind!!

I hate to be negative but you have a responsibility to get details right especially on a new to market bike that so many people are interested in. The standard seat height is 820mm,it can be lowered to 800mm. The traction control can be turned off with the same switch as the rear ABS. I test rode the bike and loved it.
@SamOnABikeSweden5 ай бұрын
You could easily lower it to 800 mm without changing to a different seat. I think it's more important to tell a potential custommer the lowest seat height possible than to tell how it's set up for most people. But you're right about the ABS/TCS, my bad for that!
@davidz85 ай бұрын
@@SamOnABikeSweden I think all you had to say was that the standard seat height is 820mm and it can be lowered to 800mm via a built in lowering link at the bottom of the rear shock. I appreciate how much effort goes into making YT video, so it always amazes me when the basic bike details are wrong.
