His gestures were very disrespectful and clearly meant to distract his opponent. It is clear she was distracted by his unsportsmanlike behavior and she should stop the clock (according to the FIDE Rules of chess) and complain to the Tournament Director. If he continues this behavior than the TD can forfeit him in accordance with FIDE rules.

@@gerry4b You cannot be serious. I have directed over 160 chess tournaments and if, after asking him not to do so, he continued with the same behavior I would have forfeited him and awarded the full point to "Pinkamena". Either you have never played in a FIDE/USCF chess tournament or you are willing to behave in a similar way and pretend your opponent will not notice. Have you even bothered to ask yourself why so many responding in this forum complained about his behavior? You probably consider this behavior "sportsmanship" which means you also have no respect for your opponent's right to play chess without deliberately being distracted by the opponent.

All the "developmental psychologists" passing diagnosis on young Roman - from less than 8 minutes of his eventful life, should be aware that he is one of the most polite and appreciative young men to ever play the game. He travels extensively, meets the great men of chess, studies continuously, but never fails to personally thank all correspondents who inquire of, and congratulate him. You don't know the boy and are in no position to judge him.

Impressive, he's a solid player, not only attacking but defending his weak squares at the same time. But his attitude is annoying. Bad sportsmanship too, not telling her she misclicked her clock. 👎

Pinkamena is one of the stars of the channel, so naturally she'll sit camera side for channel content. Sadly, that will sometimes include games with hams like this Naka jr. He clearly thinks he's funnier than he actually is. Certainly he's a superb player with a bright future, but it will come with salty servings of humble pie.
