Kartik Goswami You can complete your work experience either before applying for this program or during this program or even after this program. So don’t worry ! All these points are explained in my new video. This video is not much relevant now as there are many changes in the course and therefore I would recommend you again to watch the new and then decide whether to go for this certification or not as the course has become quite complex now !

Financial Yogi Hello ! Before discussing on your query I want to let you know that I have put an updated video on CFP Certification, have you watched it? If no, do watch it to get a clear idea about the new CFP course structure. Regarding your query I would like to tell you that CFP course is all about Finance (investment planning, tax planning etc) and CMA is about (Costing and Management). So before choosing any course you must be clear about your own interests. If you have keen interest in finance then go for CFP & if you are inclined towards Costing then go for CMA. However, if you want to complete your course in a shorter duration then go for CFP because completing CMA course takes longer than CFP.

Salary structure always depends upon various factors such as CV, interview, communication skills, how many degrees you possess etc. And thus there is no fixed amount of salary, it always differs from person to person depending upon the above factors. But yes if you have CFP Certification in your CV “minimum” 2,00,000 to 5,00,000 per annum is assured. You may get a bigger package also if you have other degrees in your CV and you are excellent at cracking interview then you may end up with a package of 6-7 lacs per annum.

The experience is required to be completed either prior to or after passing the final certification examination (Exam 5) in respect of Regular Pathway. The CFPCM certification, however, is conferred only after the candidate acquires the requisite experience. In respect of Challenge Status Pathway (CSP), a candidate is required to provide a valid proof of one’s adequate experience prior to even appearing for Exam 5.

And there are several changes in the regular pathway as well. The last date for registration under old structure was 31st May 2020. Ma'am I have already registered in old course in October last year and my paper are not cleared as of now due to corona virus the lockdown was announced due to which 3 months almost are wasted because I couldn't give exams will the students get this 3 months more extension in the validity of registeration??
