Klatt is 100% right. Gameday, espn, and a ton of talking heads have been dogging Indiana and SMU for a poor SOS since they got in and all day Saturday after Indiana lost. Texas has only played 1 ranked team, twice. They lost both times. Nobody on gameday mentioned that once. Hmmmmmmm I wonder why? 🤔 maybe just admit you should have mentioned it and move on. There is clearly an SEC bias. Just because you picked OSU at home against an inferior Tennessee team doesn’t absolve you of previous bias. Furthermore, no one predicted the buckeyes would blow the doors off them. Then to sit there and say it’s only because of the cold is also poo pooing the quality of games Ohio State, Penn State, and Notre Dame played. It also calls the entire process in to question. We should be happy we have a 12 team playoff. This weekend was awesome. And each year it will get better.

ESPN definitely screwed up, forcing a 12-team playoff down our throats. SMU and Indiana didn't play like they wanted to be there, Tennessee forgot they played SEC ball and depending on the quarterfinals, Penn St or Boise St will show us that it should have NEVER gone to 12 teams, 6 maybe or possibly 8. Definitely doesn't need to be any more than 12. Pathetic showing of "top 12" teams in the nation. There's 130+ teams in FBS. What's on the helmet shouldn't matter, figure out how to get rid of rankings and let it be played out on the field. Pre-season rankings and rankings in general are completely BS and need to be thrown out. Indiana and SMU should have played each other, Penn St should have played Texas or Ohio St and Notre Dame should have played Texas or Ohio State. Now James Franklin gets to put on another "show" while playing Boise St. We all know he can't get past the big game, so we'll give him an easy path to the semifinals. Seriously? This garbage system needs to be revamped already.
