Wow! Can you imagine the networks today agreeing to 3:33 of end credits? They would never want to give up that much commercial and promotional time. I miss end credits when they were done like this!

It’s bad enough they stopped with closing credits with soaps which was the backbone to the show. And I believe Another World was the first to do it around 1994 or 1995.

@@a.b.s_productions Daytime TV gradually stopped doing end of show end credits, with I believe Price is Right being the last do to so in September 1999. Jeopardy did recently have a 90 second end of show credits, and that's quite unusual for any TV show these days

@@a.b.s_productions Correct. NBC started the trend of "split-screen" credits in fall 1994. All the networks eventually followed suit with their own style.

Wow! I’ve never seen this AW closing sequence with an alternative version of the 1981-87 theme before. Thank you for sharing this! I was going to ask if you have the AW episode from the same date containing this closing sequence but I’m sure (and I understand) that you probably do not have it. Also, thank you for sharing your new "Texas" content! I really appreciate it. - Greetings from Houston, Texas! Best regards, Edwyn.
