The power frunk is the one that most interests me as it might make me actually use the frunk. As it is now, I've only opened my frunk once which was to fill the windshield wiper fluid. Only once because it almost never rains where I live and never snows so I barely ever even use the windshield wipers.

This is my first time here on your channel and I am already subscribed. I’m always looking for good information on my Tesla and I love doing customizations but I haven’t done many yet. Some of the channels for Tesla that I have subscribed to have changed the way they do things. In other words they stopped doing Tesla and added a bunch of other content so I left. I’ve seen quite a bit of love/hate regarding the mini display - love how it finally brings Car Play but hate how it messes with vent airflow. Have you come across any workarounds?

You know I hear this from people sometimes but I just don't have an issue with it. I have never once not had my car cool me off or warm me up so I guess I don't have a workaround becuase I never thought I needed one.

Does CarPlay work well with the Hansshow solution? I hear there are auto issues with the audio defaulting to the Hansshow speaker? Also does it route calls and messages through the Hansshow or car speakers?

You forgot to mention that not everyone's car has the hardware to use the CCS adapter. And you really need to be careful removing a steering wheel because of the airbag, which can randomly activate and that can be a dangerous event. And the steering wheel should be torqued to spec and just hand tightened in place. And clearly you don't understand what a heads up display is when you compared that center console screen to one, because it's not a heads up display or even close to being like one. But of course you recommend Hansshow products because they give them to you for free. I'm sorry I just don't trust reviews of free products, unless you have to send them back afterwards. If you started paying for the products you review, then I might find your reviews reputable. Here's the biggest reason not to mod your car this heavily, most likely your insurance won't cover those items if your car is totaled.

Has Hanshow done anything about their historically bad reputation as far as service after the sale? I'm really not trying to be snarky, there are several of their products I would like to have, but frankly, I am put off by their rep.

I appreciate your question, however, over the years I have been recommending this product this hasn’t really been an issue. They have joined private groups I have created to address problems and answer questions of say the screen updates etc. There were a few who reached out to me with this concern but after I wrote Hansshow it was resolved quickly. Who would be the alternative for these that would not have any of your concerns?

I bought my motorized trunk kit for my 2020 SR+ from another manufacturer, dual motorized struts, no issues at all. In fact, I like it better than the factory unit on my 2022 LR. Considering a frunk kit, but there have been reports of major issues (total fail, locked out of frunk). Hanshow's tail lights appeal to me.
