Hi Clarence great video. Best of luck on the acting!! I wanted convertible for my first Corvette in 22 as I never owned a convertible and I could not be happier. I never enjoyed taking t tops off and on my Firebirds back in the day. I ordered without mag ride to save some money and it rides just fine. To me, front lift is a must have; mag ride was not. All the best!!

When I built a 2023 C8 Stingray, the build-tool wouldn’t allow me to add the Z51 package and the high wing. I could only add one or the other.

I thought that Engine Appearance Package was very lame at a POP of $1,000 bucks like you said. My 2022 C8 ended up being a HTC, so no worries 😉 I did miss out on the Park Assist being on my build which was on 2/8/2022. Hopefully the retrofit will come up soon. I got the $50 credit on my “Sticker”, yippee lol!!! This “Chip Shortage” is a real inconvenience for customers wanting some of the options that are on constraint as you mentioned that “finally” they get the allocation for their car to be built and can’t have it the way they wanted to build it. It makes no sense for you wanting to experience non mag ride. You’re just setting yourself up for disappointment. It’s not going to be any better and at best it will only be the same which you’ve already experienced. The convertible htc is definitely worth getting if you enjoy topless driving. I drive with my z06 top off all of the time. I’ve had 2 coupes and 2 convertibles and unless you are tracking, the htc is the better street spec.

Agree with appeance package. On paper it sounds great, later you discover its basically two weak LED that only work when the car is stopped. I'm not the biggest carbon fiber guy either, so I passed. This option is totally a cash grab by GM, like some of the sillier options are.
