That was the strangest of game endings. Watching a player pop off hoping they fail, and knowing they can die from a die roll. Backgrounds on the life totals made them VERY hard to read.

Always love these games, little feedback thoe. With the backgrounds on the phone app as a viewer in the overhead shots I could not read the life totals, could read Bens but the other 3 blurred way to much.

Actually Possibility Storm shuts down Jin-Gitaxias' ability to counter. When the first spell goes on the stack, both Jin and PS trigger. CGB then has to decide how he orders the triggers. If PS resolves first, the first spell is exiled and replaced. Jin trigger does nothing because the spell it was supposed to counter left the stack (it still resolves, it just does nothing), and the new spell isn't countered because Jin can only trigger once a turn. If Jin resolves first, it counters the spell and send it to the graveyard. Then PS resolves and will still reveal until a new spell is found, because it doesn't care whether or not it successfully exiled the original spell to look for a replacement. And as previously, Jin doesn't counter the new spell. So the only difference is that CGB has the choice to send the original spell in the graveyard instead of the bottom of the library, but the second spell is still cast and Jin doesn't trigger on it.

We been there at our local game club and it was NOT fun to play against extra extra turns, we just scooped collectively cuz theres no reason for just 1 person to play....so please, whoever reads this comment. Don't do that if you still want to have people play with you

MTG is a MULTIPLAYER game. It should be IMPOSSIBLE to take infinite turns or monopolize the game in any other way! The fact that it is possible to do that in a multiplayer game is HORRIBLE game design and proof how bad the "game designers" at WotC are!

@@floend4810 EDH is originally a fan format, extra turn spells are from one-on-one game designs. with that point you‘d have to ban tutors as well. Not fun if exploited, but def not the fault of the game designers

@@silash.5535 EVERY card is designed by the game designers. So if they are not fun and/or broken it is ABSOLUTELY the fault of the designers! And any MTG game involves at least TWO players! It is therefore a multiplayer game and it should not be possible to monopolize the game!

Yeah, I really don't like Possibility Storm. an opponent ran it one time, not because it synergized with his deck, but because it was disruption. Well, after he cast it, one of his opponents cast a simple artifact and stormed into a Wondrous Crucible (Your permanents have Ward 2, on upkeep mill 2 cards and randomly cast a noncreature card from the graveyard, which would have gotten around Possibility Storm). There was nothing we could do because Possibility Storm force fed the victory to him with a silver spoon

The only reason this video didn't get a dislike from me is because this kind of game was intentional. It was agreed upon in the pre-game conversation. But this is not the kind of commander I enjoy. I'm all for playing evil decks with friends, but extra turns are real downers.
