Slabs are heavy and take up a lot of space! I think you did great with thinning out your slabs and getting the books you truly want. Awesome that you're taking the day off tomorrow to give yourself some extra time in case your conversation goes long. Look our for Fantasy Masterpieces #2 (1966) which reprints the Fin Fang Foom story from Strange Tales #89 - only 5 years after the original published date. You can probably find it for pretty cheap, and it'll totally give you that nostalgia feel of reading an old comic book.

Love it! Not a book you see too often; I know, because I've been looking. I also have a book (Superboy 68) at CGC at the moment that was submitted "for preservation purposes." But I don't think I'll be lucky enough to get a 1.5 on it. LOL

I rarely found the specific books I was looking for on the road, less impulse buys. Well the dream lives, only FF 1, 2, 4, and 5 away from the complete FF Jack and Stan run.
