The only time I’ve seen a cracked case personally, they were shipped the exact same way. Two books sandwiched together with bubble wrap surrounding them. Seems like a simple solution would be to put a piece of padding or bubble wrap between the two books and then wrap them. Having said that, I’ve also worked for a shipping company while in college. Believe me when I say you wouldn’t believe how some packages are handled! Lol. That old 70s commercial with a gorilla smashing luggage isn’t really that far off. Haha

Cgc label says tied with. These things seem to be more dictated in the market by what the grading companies say. It gets messy especially with the black suit since they were putting it everywhere all within weekly release windows. Thanks for watching!

I have stopped using CGC. I was tired of the delays, missing books and damages. Since I do not resell and all books are for the PC, I started using EGS and have been very happy with their cases and service.

Had a big crack in my signed TMNT #2 when it came back. The box on mine wasn't damaged so that meant they damaged it in the slabbing process or packaging process. I called and they were good about it, but it still took almost a month for them to fix it.

When you add a custom label, different levels of grading, or even a mix of fast track and not, all of those are shipped separately. After adding all comics to your cart go to the cart and look at it. You will see that they divide all the books by type and each group gets separate shipping. You can check this all before completing and clicking checkout. I think it's stupid that they do this but, it is what it is.

I dont know why CGC gets such love, the whole experience was mediocre. Though I did not find PGX to have great customer service. I did a video about customer service and TAT as well. PGX definitely won TAT

So i sent in 5 about a week ago and cgc just got them. I hope i get all of mine with no problem NO cracked cases. I did buy 1-4 BRZRKR NM raw copies and fedex bent the some corners 😠

CGC has packing issues. Considering how many damaged books they have to deal with you would think they would have addressed the issue by now but they haven't.

The books are loose in the slab because they created more space between the inner and outer well to minimize Newton rings. Be careful that you don’t get shaken comic syndrome.

@@ComicsRediscovered I do hope you don't get a lower grade, but it looks like someone stomped on those cases, I haven't seen so badly cracked cases in a long time. And this is more the postal service's fault they are cracked. The lose book is CGC's fault. What does "FRAGILE" mean really, seems like nothing. Only boxes that seem to arrive un-dinged are monitors and TV's. That's why a bicycle company in The Netherlands started shipping their bike frames in TV-sized boxes with an image on the side of a TV and a bike frame within the TV, as comparison image. This lead to zero damaged bike frames in the mail as it 'clearly looks like a TV'.

If they were worth a small fortune you would probably have gone ballistic. Like if it was amazing fantasy 15 X-Men 1 tales of suspense 39 something like that you would probably have a nervous break down I know I would and I have two copies of amazing fantasy 15 one of those is 6.0 the other is 8.0 restore no trimming.

Seems cgc has a major problem with books being damaged BY THEM and their cases are crap. Do they recase for free? I suppose you need to pay for shipping both ways again? Can tell you one thing, not enough packing material used at all. What they used would prevent nothing.

Hey! I've only just started watching your channel so I'm just working my way through your content. I've seen tons of videos on CGC over the last wee while & honestly.... why da fuk are they even allowed to be classed as the market leader!? Their service is crap, quality is crap & that packaging was nowhere near as good as it should be. I know the courier should have respected the fragile label but c'mon! An extra couple layers of bubble wrap would do better. I can't wait for the market shift and CGC are no longer #1. They don't fu%#ing deserve it.
