Those are some Amazing comics! I am super envious of ASM 129 in any grade! But the UF4 in a 9.6 is pretty awesome as well! Great unboxing but obviously go through the book and lesson learned at least for me.

Great haul. I just got an Avengers 10 green label. I missed the pin up being removed. I showed it on my reveal a couple of days ago. Like Gary said, take your time and count your pages!

Tough break on the 129. I was looking through my very first price guide I bought, Katie Keene cover. Funny thing is at that time Marvel Fanfare 1 was valued at $10, AMS 129 was $2. X-Men 1 was $330. X-Men 11-20 were $12 each. 😂. These prices were for in Mint category. This was 1984-5.

That’s when I started collecting, I was 10 years old. And I had no idea about back issues and how to get them, all I knew is what the comic book shop add. No doubt I would have least had a giant size X-Men number one if I would’ve known how to track them down

Nice! I'd like an ASM 129, even with a green label. If you still have it at Terrificon , I'll take a look. I always look through my books and I take a few pics, too. I had a book that I thought was a 9.8 candidate, and it came back a 7.5. Graders notes said a "crunch" along the spine. I think, maybe, it got dropped at CGC.

I was grading some books and came across an Adventure into Fear 24 with the MVS cut out. Sucks when that happens but I've learned to count every page and look carefully for that stuff. Nice grade on the Spidey!

I feel you for the #129. I purchased & graded a Spider-Man 50 (first Kingpin). It came back with a purple label, color touch C-2 at a 5.5. That one hurt; I'm out several hundred dollars on that one.

CGC got me good! Long story but worth it. My uncle gave me a beautiful 9.0 solid copy of FF 40 when I was a preteen. I never opened because I knew that it was ana amazing book. 25 years pass by. I'm getting back into books and I know it's a lil diamond worth at least a few hundred. So I send it in to CGC. Comes back, purple label. 8.0 not only is the grade .5-1.0 under but it's purple! Someone in the 1980s cooked the book and when sent into CGC I got a C-1. I love that book.... Guess I'll have to keep it. No one likes purple labels. I even upgraded from standard because I thought it was worth over 500 bucks. So I overpaid and disappointed. Rant over.

Shame about the Punisher but all the rest were great scores. I agree with you the ASM 14 should grow. Just logically it is harder to find that in a good grade than ASM 129 - and I know Punisher > Green Goblin but still - Green Goblin is easily a top 5 villain of all time in all comics.

Not a fan of the custom labels personally. I like the info on the front. Plus when you display them next to slabs without custom labels it looks off to me.

ive been paying attention pretty good to asm 129 because i got a 6.0 a month or two ago and sales are all over the place. I got a steal though. They wanted 1200 at a shop. (dont think they had looked at last sold since they put it on their wall.) I paid 400 cash and traded a bunch of minor keys that prolly had about 700$ resale value but a couple had a good chance to rise if they waited a bit to sell. From everything ive been seeing i put my 6.0 at about 2200-2500 but like i said sales have been all over the place. #keepitcomics

Considering how difficult it was for Peter Parker to show up in the MCU because of the messy licensing I don't expect to see Miles anytime soon there. He could certainly show up in a Sony made movie, but only time will tell about the MCU itself.

What's the cost to get all of these books Graded? With the new Graded tiers, Moderns are up to $400, so I'm assuming that's what you put the UF4 in. I am interested... I've only ever sent in Modern books. Lmk please!
