Speaking as a collector myself, I personally wouldn't enjoy having a collection that big. I don't feel like I'd be able to properly enjoy what I had. Of course, I'm also a person that goes "toys are for playing with" and opens my stuff so I relate to this guy. That said, it is super cool to see all that stuff, and hopefully it brings its owner much joy!
@rexrocker12683 ай бұрын
I bet you have 10,000 times more things than I do and I want to get rid of almost everything I got it’s just a burden. Most of it just sits in plastic totes. And ask for my comic books maybe a couple are worth a few bucks. Most of the rest are probably dollar books. Collecting is cool, but it gets to a point where you get too much stuff at a certain time and you realize why do I have all this stuff? I can’t even appreciate it.

Sorry to say, but whoever told you that size doesn't matter was lying and was just being nice. I later found out too 😢😢😢😢

@@rexrocker1268true. I can certainly appreciate it for what it is and I’m not throwing shade at all! We each are in different places in our lives. I’d love to see it but personally that much stuff (unless it was for sale) would drive me nuts.
@rexrocker12683 ай бұрын
@@jasonmilam9080 Yeah it’s awesome too, but it’s so much stuff! But it is cool. I’m trying to make my life more simple. Also if I die I don’t want to be a pain in the butt to my kin. Imagine inheriting all that it would be awesome but it’s like what do you even do with it? It’s like a museum lol.

10:33 That worlds finest 175, I believe, is 1st time Neal Adams drew batman

@@CollectingLlama just looked it up. The first instance of Adams drawing Batman in an interior story was "The Superman-Batman Revenge Squads" in World's Finest Comics #175 (May 1968).

Holy Moley! That's not a man cave but a toy store. The way they were displayed, I initially thought he was selling them from his home's basement. It wouldn't surprise me if he eventually does to avoid moving them out of there himself. Cool vid!
@jarredsmith91873 ай бұрын
Very Gary,that was amazing cause I have never seen someone with a collection like that. I must say after this year I am done collecting comics cause I just need TMNT#1 third print and Star Wars#42 and I am calling it quits but I am going to start collecting video games next and Zelda Nes and Zelda ocarina of time N64 opened but complete is the first games on my list.

Beautiful toy room. There were a lot of $5 books in those keys. Hope there's more gold in the rest of the set or it's a whole lot of dollar books

I used to have a collection this size but got rid of 80% of it a few years ago. Just realized what the heck am I going to do with all this stuff?? My kids don’t care about the stuff and you can’t take it with you. I just kept mostly stuff I had as a kid or items that had sentimental value to me.

Just looks like a toy hoarder, not even displayed nicely or with lighting, just hanging on pegs and piled up everywhere. Stuff like that is better with quality instead of quantity imo. Get some IKEA Detolfs and showcase at least some of the best figures.
