DIRECTOR"S STATEMENT
"Nothing is Impossible because the word itself says Im possible" - Audrey Hepburn. How true! I experienced it through the life of my father, a great sportsman. Though he played Cricket his entire life, he was passionate about all forms of sport. Even after a tragic accident which left his body paralyzed; his passion & love for sports didn"t diminish. Medically his condition was incurable, but still he had the grit to withstand it and wanted to make the impossible, possible. I sensed that it was the sportsman spirit in him which gave him the strength to withstand every adversary. This heart rending experience left me with the desire to unfold my thesis film I M POSSIBLE. I M Possible aims to the audiences who never say die. I hope this film encourages all to explore our passion and give strength to live in any challenging situation.

This video might be very touching, and I bet some of you shed some tears, that dream of this video saying I M POSSIBLE it's only for the people who has never been paralyzed on their life, for all of you is easy to say that, or imagine that somebody who is paralyzed can be happy again, but forgive me to burst your bubble, I been quadriplegic for 13 years 4 months and 29 days ( I was on the freeway and another car lost one of it's wheels and that wheel bounce so high that crossed to the the other side of the freeway and landed on the roof of my car and it broke my spinal cord)not that I'm counting the days in purpose but that accident not only broke my spinal cord it also shattered my dreams,I lost my dream job, I got engaged a month before the accident, so I lost the opportunity to became a mom and have the family I always wanted, now I been confined to a prison's cell of the size of my body, thank God my fiance never left me, now he's my caregiver, that accident changed his life completely too, instead of being committed to raise a family an take take care of his own kids now he has to take care of me, I been trying to recovery since then, every day it's a battle, right now I found this video after being awake the whole night, the nerve pain haven't let me slept for the third time this week, and I have to be very careful of not waking up my fiance because somebody has to pay the rent, the bills and expenses, so it doesn't matter if some nights he can't sleep taking care of me at our department, or having to take me to the hospital, just to mention some of the things we have to face everyday, I really hope that your dad played basketball even in a wheel chair, we all have dreams that we want to achieve, I wish I can do my make up as the way I use to do it and everyday practice and maybe I'll never gonna be a beauty guru, but I won't stop ever. That, my dear dreamer is a reality check of what a normal person who's paralyzed has to overcome.

This reminded me of my father a little bit, mainly, because Christopher looks a hell of a lot like my father. He used to push me to do basketball, and I only ever did because of him. I never got good at it, and then, eventually I stopped. Basketball was never really my thing, and, at the peak of my surrender, and my refusal to go on, I expected my old man to resent me, but I was wrong. He pushed me into basketball not only to exercise and hone my physical prowess, or become something more than what I am, but he pressured me hard because he was my father - he was helping me mold myself into a better, first-rate version of myself, because, since I indulged myself in my real interests, he still inspired me, and he didn't even stop me; he just wanted me to be able to hold up high, plant my feet unto the ground, and find purpose in this world. If there's another thing this short taught me, it's that same old story we've all heard but also acknowledged as the most inevitable truth of life: to never give up. Scars won't stop us dead in our tracks, unless we let it. They're challenges. Overcoming it just comes to show how strong and resilient the human spirit really is.

Really thank you for making this! I felt a lot better about the past events which I gone through, and which was related to basketball. I remember this tr4mu4tized me so much throughout my primary school life and until now. I was kind of bu11ied in the basketball team in primary school, I have no idea why. Perhaps I was short, or because I was a shy person who was also a crybaby. I quit the team after 1 year though, as I was afraid of the bu11ying and the high expectations of the coach. In primary 6, there was an inter-class basketball competition, and basketball team members are not allowed to join. I was almost elected instantly as people knew I was a former member. I was pretty nervous of the match and let me just take out the parts which are less important. So basically, the opposing team scored once and I knew I had to score at least once to give our class a chance to be in the finals. I was pretty good at aiming, but when my teammate passed me the ball, I shot once, misssed, then the 2nd time. The ball rolled and fell off right next to the net. I never forgave myself for missing such an important shot. Even if the team members told me it's okay, it still became a ruined memory. I think I felt a lot better after watching this! I guess it's okay to have setbacks and failures, but avoiding the problem can't solve it. I've tried to avoid playing basketball for the next 5 years but I guess it felt much worse. Now I occasionally play it alone at school, but I guess it's already a good start. Wow you actually read till the end, have a biscult :)

He was swinging his legs when he fell. hahahah When showing a first person view of him when he opened his eyes, this was horizontal to the ground. But the character was still lying with his head. Then the first-person view should have a different angle. But this was a beautiful and emotional video. Nice work!

When he was falling in the dark, he entered in his nightmare straightaway that's why I kept his legs swinging, I do appreciate your next comment though, I should have thought about the first person's view, there are so many things I didn't even get to achieve due to short time to produce it but great catch man!
