Historical injustices from colonialism and apartheid such as land issue, inequality and poverty haunting South Africa need to be addressed through BRICS. Countries within BRICS should not pretend to promote peace and prosperity to the world while they are oppressing their citizens.

Well, gender balance is fine, more important, it's competency balance. We choose our presidents by the gender or race criterion without caring of their fitness to do the job. We had a black male president, now we are herded into electing a black female president, next time it will be the turn for a black transgender president...
