Yeah that's the always up in the air question: Will he take me seriously? I once walked into a cop shop in SE DC after going through an intersection with a downed light pole in the road by the corner. The old fashioned kind with an arm and a light. Not huge. A white workvan ahead of me barely rolled over it, dragging it a bit enough for me to go around. I knew the station was nearby so I swung by. I told the desk cop. He looked at me with an incredulous amused face. He didn't believe me that a light pole was in the road at the intersection. But if he didn't believe me, why not arrest me? I said no for real. "Oh OK ma'am... uhhh... ha... I'm not sure uhhhh. Ha..." Ugh forget it. And I left.

Interesting fact, there was an ambulance right behind them...
@maaasmahal3 жыл бұрын
1. they most likely are out trying to get someone else or have someone inside. 2 they dont have the stuff to treat the girl. usually if theres a call the person will tell whats wrong and the ambulance will bring certain things specifically for that. this is everything my sister told me who works as a nurse
@rcl9983 жыл бұрын
@@maaasmahal nah, the light was not flashing, I am sure it's off duty, high possible there is at least 1 paramedic that can make basic évaluation of the condition of patient...

@@skyezblue3136 nope, but the local bodies and politics are too naive to adopt such dignity and fair public service... See first of all people are not ready to follow the rules, so next comes the public servants

Where I'm from, the ministers get an escort even for their shopping day out. Traffic is very tight here but on any normal day, 5 jeeps in front of an SUV, 5 more at the back would force their way in, causing further inconveniences just so that they can reach their office to loot public money and embezzle funds as they cause the death of thousands of people in emergencies because even ambulances have to sit in a jam because the roads are too narrow but sick people never gets an escort if it's just 'a citizen' Unless he/she is a master thief sitting in an office and steals money but only in terms of millions. And the cops also go for small hauls like petty thieves or local goons who extort from shops and establishments on a weekly basis but the bigger fishes are actually their bosses and so, they never make it to the news. Just ranting. Sorry, I guess this is common anywhere in the world but being a poor citizen from one of the most corrupt states in India, I can't help it.

This reminds me of the guy who was pulled over for speeding because his wife was haveing a heart attack. The cop yelled at him and told him to drive the speed limit for like 5 minutes while the guys wife was dying in the passenger seat. The cop followed him to the hospital to make sure he didn't go over the speed limit again...... the guys wife died. Only in America.
