You don't need sirens - just use the loud speaker and shout "Ebola" - I can guarantee that the traffic will move!! Update - I am a doctor with extensive aeromedical experience, hence my suggestion as to what to do to enable a smooth ride!! I have actually refused to transport an Ebola patient from Kenya to S Africa (where I was based) purely because the logistics of equipping pilots with Hazmat suits were too complex at that time (late 1990s) - in addition, it is almost impossible to safely isolate a patient who is on life support - the ‘isolation’ pods are not geared for things such as artificial ventilation of the patient.

You don't need armed police to escort a medical convoy. SEG are for life threatening convoys of high ranking.
@jamesevans9383 жыл бұрын
@@MASTERJJ1995 yes but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be escorting them and they probably are SEG riders its just that for this escort they are using standard met police bikes instead of SEG bikes since they need sirens in this instance
@MASTERJJ19953 жыл бұрын
@@jamesevans938 If it were the SEG, you would know by their white bikes and Glocks on the hip. The SEG or SO14 are used specifically for high risk VIPs and are a very small group of highly trained armed officers. The "rules" are they are *only* used for VIPs that are highly likely to be attacked and only if they are on public business duties, so Boris can't borrow them for a night out or something. So for this escort, since it's not a VIP nor threat of an attack, it is definitely not a job for SEG. The bikes that SEG uses have full police equipment too, they have sirens but they opt for whistles to avoid noise pollution of the VIPs, and to attract peoples attention as sirens may be too common. Hopes this explains it.

Even the PM and the rich abuse escorts too just to get from A to B and cause even more traffic, instead of being patient like everyone else.
