He may have very well been for the people and he probably wrote the Communist Manifesto with good intentions. The reality is though , his ideology no matter how good its intentions were has resulted in the death of millions due to the inherent flaws in its applications. Applications he never lived to see. Was he evil? No. Is his ideology evil? Not particularly in theory , CERTAINLY in practice. Regardless he is no man to be celebrating. People’s view of Karl Marx should be “an evil man who influenced the death of millions of people” at worst and at best viewed with an air of indifference or understanding as a man who “ developed an ideology that sounded good and moral on paper and never lived to see the horrors of its true application”. Marxist Leninist ideology on paper, rhetoric, political body and regulations of the market system wise is still considered the main framework of modern Chinese rule, they renovated the system by elasticizing Marxist rhetoric, through broadening all Marxist socialist concepts. To be completely fair communism is the product of a well-developed capitalism after it ran its course according to Marx himself, not a semi-feudal country like Tsar Russia nor Imperial China. Marx expected revolutions to break out in London, not Moscow. It's also part of the reason the USSR ran out of steam, basically because it was an "immature birth" where it jumped ahead of itself by going to communism without the material and intellectual basis of humanism developed by free capitalism. One could still technically say that they are still on track with Marxist agendas, just late to the party for about 200 years... ( China came straight from feudalism to communism without much of the scientific revolutions and enlightenment period, so of course growing pains are going to be quite dramatic-- Great Leap Forward, Cultural Revolution is all in a sense the consequences of taking too big of a step when we weren't ready at a time that we simply had to catch up to the rest of the world) The bright side at least economics and history is taught in Marxist philosophy and historical materialism is explained very clearly to every Chinese middle and high schooler, and nobody has a romanticized idea of total capitalism, so the seed will always be here, stronger than some people in that room would like, which makes it almost seems like they are listening to their own funeral song...

Global Event世界大事 you clearly don’t understand the emphasis of the hatred towards corporations and capitalism in communism. Russian revolution is based off of the idea that EVERYTHING would be nationalized. The rich capitalists were the “dogs” and the source of all of their problems. Not only that.... DISNEY IS A WESTERN CORPORATION!!!!! Motherfucker 1/4 of people were killed in Cambodia in the 70’s on the basis of “ridding the nation of western influence”. The brand of communism that china is today is just pathetic.😂 Men sit in their ivory towers in Beijing looking down on the common man just like bankers in New York. @@finnegansx4423 See how the CCP handled COVID? They made *massive* mistakes. Those who spoke out about it as far as October were silenced, arrested and many ended up dying of the virus themselves. The hospitals made were of awful quality, and while China could’ve isolated it back in October or November, they let it spread until January. And I suppose Korea, Japan or Taiwan and their handling of the virus is irrelevant?
@finnegansx44233 жыл бұрын
@@placeholder8768 In October? Where do you even read your news from. The first case was identified in China in December 2019, and reported to WHO in 2020 January, the lockdown of the entire province of Wuhan and the city itself were also strictly emplemented in the January. The whole procedure of lockdown of China was much more restricted than what you called lockdown now happening in NA and Europe, because everyone thinks "freedom" and "human right" is more important than human lives, such resistance was never an issue in Asian countries, including India (and India failed because of its structural incapability of the government, for small Asian countries it is much easier). *Months later* , European scientists found the Covid-19 virus from patient's serum sample back from *Sept 2019* in *Europe* . The virus is now recognized nothing related to neither eating bats nor leaking from Wuhan P4 bio laboratory. The leaking accusation is exactly what Falun Gong media like NTD is pushing, but no evidence whatsoever, and they never needed one. *The virus is first identified in China, not originated in China* . I thought it was consensual and no need to repeat. However, since the *massive* political attack and accusations without any evidence for the first half year from every major western media (which causes the no masks movement), you still believe, even today, that the virus was originated from China, now that is just *laughable* . CCP had only less than a month to react, and your government chose to do nothing from 2020 January to April, your ppl chose to not wear a mask, your government chose to not enforce lockdown even when cases were rising high. The only thing your government chose to do is politicalizing this public health event. And you still believe CCP *"made"* the virus, that is truly *laughable* . Get your facts right and then reply to me.
@placeholder87683 жыл бұрын
@@finnegansx4423 The first case was identified in December. Yes. However, the virus’s beginning was found to be as far back as October. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7095063/ The fact that it took one and a half months for the government to do anything. Again, they literally censored those that reported about this, strangely mirroring the responses of earlier Chinese dynasties with the beliefs of the loss of the Mandate of Heaven. www.business-humanrights.org/en/latest-news/coronavirus-information-censored-on-chinese-social-media-since-as-early-as-december-2019-report-reveals/. And yes, that was partially a reason. Another reason is simply because people in these countries voluntarily chose to listen. There’s a difference between calls for freedom and knowledge of discipline. However, this cannot be attributed as much to the government as it can be to the people (look at HK, where a massive amount of the people oppose the current administration yet the cases peaked at roughly 200), though it’s also important to admit that China was still more effective than, say, America. But yes, it was found back in September months later. This still, in general, spoke of the ineffectiveness of China’s government. It came from open markets which, up to January, were allowed to be commonly held, despite the advice of many others. Don’t worry - I’m not a conspiracy theorist or angry neocon who thinks you’re all a bunch of commies. The virus was not intentional. No need to assume I’m that type of person. It was, however, still related to bats, whether through consumption or through other forms of contact. dw.com/en/coronavirus-from-bats-to-pangolins-how-do-viruses-reach-us/a-52291570 When I spoke of the virus originating in China, I meant that the COVID-19 pandemic and this specific coronavirus strain originated in China. The original coronavirus dates back thousands of years to Arabia, but that’s irrelevant to the point I made. Your point overall seems to be comparing the inefficiency of the West to justify China. The inefficiency of the West, laughable as it is, is again irrelevant. The point is that China could’ve stopped this pandemic and kept it under control, yet it took a month to react, censoring anyone who actually spoke up against China. Just like how it’s stupid to justify atrocities by saying someone else did it, or anything else bad for that matter, it was also a massive mistake for China to keep it spreading when it could’ve been stopped relatively quickly back in December. But again, you assume I think the CCP made the virus. I don’t. Please don’t jump to conclusions, it usually ends up in stupid mistakes like this. These are the facts.

Let racist ignorance be ended For respect makes the empires fall! Freedom is merely privilege extended Unless enjoyed by one and all [Chorus] So come brothers and sisters For the struggle carries on The Internationale Unites the world in song So comrades, come rally For this is the time and place! The international ideal Unites the human race [Verse 2] Let no one build walls to divide us Walls of hatred nor walls of stone Come greet the dawn and stand beside us We'll live together or we'll die alone In our world poisoned by exploitation Those who have taken, now they must give! And end the vanity of nations We've but one Earth on which to live [Chorus] So come brothers and sisters For the struggle carries on The Internationale Unites the world in song So comrades, come rally For this is the time and place! The international ideal Unites the human race [Verse 3] And so begins the final drama In the streets and in the fields We stand unbowed before their armour We defy their guns and shields! When we fight, provoked by their aggression Let us be inspired by life and love For though they offer us concessions Change will not come from above! [Chorus] So come brothers and sisters For the struggle carries on The Internationale Unites the world in song So comrades, come rally For this is the time and place! @@myhonestreaction6217 Communism hasn't been achieved... Communism involves a stateless, classless, moneyless society with the means of production held in common, a lack of commodity production which refers to producing things to be sold, a gift economy, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need" as Marx had worded it, the "withering away of state" as Engels had worded, to achieve a "Communist-Society" as Marx had called it. The nations which you most likely refer to as "Communist" are/were only Socialist and thus merely in the transitory stage between Capitalism and Communism. Socialism has done many good things improved literacy, education, healthcare, rights for minorities, rights for women, standards of living, qualities of life, caloric intake, lifespan, etc. They have also turned feudal backwaters into economic superpowers such as in the Soviet Union's case. According to a study called "Capitalism, Socialism and the Physical Quality of Life" by H. Waitzkin and S. Cereseto PhD published by the World Bank, given equal levels of economic development, Socialist nations had higher standards of living than Capitalist nations, also according to that same study, given equal levels of economic development, Socialist nations had higher levels of caloric intake than Capitalist ones, meaning contrary to popular belief, people in Socialist nations actually ate more food. That study can be found on various .gov and .org sites and has PDFs for you to download, if you want to read it. All of this information can be found from various other sources as well, physical and digital. Socialism had also turns nations into military superpowers such as in the Soviet Union's case. Planned economies are actually proven to be more efficient than markets such as in the case of Project CyberSyn where they used a computer planned economy, this was decades ago in Chile, think about what modern computers with modern computing capabilities could do! The reason for some Socialist nations having bad economies is NOT a fault of Socialism, it is often caused by economic embargoes, sanctions and other methods of destabilizing their economies caused by the United States, or the loss of some of the nations' biggest trade partners such as the DPRK(North Korea)'s economy ranking after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Communism isn't somebody's dream coming to fruition, it's the inevitable historical stage and a result of the resolution of class antagonisms and conflicts within society, you don't understand it, if you were born in Vietnam for example, you probably would because they teach you dialectical materialism and Marxism-Leninism from Kindergarten to secondary school. You see, the state only exists as a result of class antagonisms and conflicts and serves whichever class wields political power, under capitalism, the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, the bourgeois class do, under socialism, the dictatorship of the proletariat (working class), the workers do. All class society is dictatorship, capitalism is the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, socialism is the dictatorship of the proletariat. Not dictatorships within the absolute, liberal sense, but class dictatorships. The class that holds political power serves their interests and represses the opposing classes, Stalin explained it best, read some theory lib: "Hence the three main aspects of the dictatorship of the proletariat. 1) The utilisation of the rule of the proletariat for the suppression of the exploiters, for the defence of the country, for the consolidation of the ties with the proletarians of other lands, and for the development and victory of the revolution in all countries. 2) The utilisation of the rule of the proletariat in order to detach the labouring and exploited masses once and for all from the bourgeoisie, to consolidate the alliance of the proletariat with these masses, to draw these masses into the work of socialist construction, and to ensure the state leadership of these masses by the proletariat. 3) The utilisation of the rule of the proletariat for the organisation of socialism, for the abolition of classes, for the transition to a society without classes, to a socialist society. The proletarian dictatorship is a combination of all these three aspects. No single one of these aspects can be advanced as the sole characteristic feature of the dictatorship of the proletariat. On the other hand, in the circumstances of capitalist encirclement, the absence of even one of these features is sufficient for the dictatorship of the proletariat to cease being a dictatorship. Therefore, not one of these three aspects can be omitted without running the risk of distorting the concept of the dictatorship of the proletariat. Only all these three aspects taken together give us the complete and finished concept of the dictatorship of the proletariat.”

Industry growth was 908.8%" All of this is also without mentioning increased women's rights, increased rights for ethnic minorities, etc. Women, for example, had increased college enrollment, workforce, and political participation, as well as the fact that a lot had see in the military especially during the Great Patriotic War(World War Two). @@llieu5642 First you said none of them probably read it. And then you said everyone reads it because it is mandatory. Huge contradiction in a single line of comment. What more to be expected from an average Capitalist boy.

@@morningstararun6278 the “read” was a figurative expression not literal, it’s like you must read it by just memorizing to pass those stupid exams but you forget everything after that. Also it was capitalism, or say state capitalism that lifted hundreds of millions out of poverty (but ofc now comes with huge inequality), there’s nothing wrong being a capitalist

@@llieu5642 Westoid, I know you are butthurt about the success of Socialism in China, but how exactly do you know that all of the students just memorize Marxism and forget it later. I mean, if you go and ask about Marxism to the American population, almost all of them will give a wrong explanation. Not the case in China though. You might have been around students who are similarly memorizing bugs like yourself. "State Capitalism"? 😂😂😂 Tell me you are a westoid Liberal, without telling me you are a westoid Liberal. China has a Socialist Market Economy. If China is Capitalist, ask the Americans if they would be happy to implement China's economic policies in the US. They will scream through their lungs and call it a Communist oppression. China is indeed not fully Socialist, but that doesn't make it a Capitalist. Capital is not the one in power in China.

“It is only possible to achieve real liberation in the real world and by employing real means, that slavery cannot be abolished without the steam-engine and the mule and spinning-jenny, serfdom cannot be abolished without improved agriculture, and that, in general, people cannot be liberated as long as they are unable to obtain food and drink, housing and clothing in adequate quality and quantity. “Liberation” is an historical and not a mental act, and it is brought about by historical conditions, the development of industry, commerce, agriculture, the conditions of intercourse.” -Karl Marx, 1845, from "The German Ideology".
