We lived a century in Eastern DRC in peace as one people without paying much attention to who was who. We do not have any problem with the Rwandan people, they are our brothers, sisters, children, mothers etc. The problem we have is with Kagame and his elite. He should not consider the kindness and hospitality of Bantu people as weakness; That the Congolese army avoid entering Rwanda or engage him in populated areas that he uses as human shields is not a weakness but humanity. The Rwandan army and its M23 suppletive wouldn’t stand a day if it were not for that. I am sure he must have heard about Shaka Zulu.

But this recognition was inconsistent, and debates over their nationality have continued for decades. In 1996, the Congolese Parliament revoked Tutsi citizenship, leading to tensions and violence. Then in 2002, the Sun City Agreement attempted to recognize Tutsi born in Congo as Congolese, but the government backed out again. Those people are very much Congolese. Whether you guys like it or not.

It’s not complex, it’s the looting of a sovereign country by Paul Kagame, the west and multinationals. No ethnic conflict here, that’s only a diversion to the real cause. Can you explain how Rwanda is the first exporter of coltan when it has none in its soil? DRC, produces over 60% of the world coltan and of course do not expect PK, the west and multinationals to take responsanbity for their looting, they have to come up with something.

@@kingforlife3857 south africa is there under the mandate of the un ,not on its own. Most of the tursis on eastern congo are rwandees from the 1964 war. The tutsi are less than 6% of eastern congo. They were given better positions up to 40%of the leadership in East congo but they continue to fight because they think its their right to rule the rest of the people. Paul kagame is a dictator and not wanted even in rwanda where only one group runs the show. The tutsi issue is just a pretext to steal minerals and capture land ,after all rwanda and congo are bantu countries in the real sense of the word. Ghana stands with drc.
