Savni ji ko vandan .... Aap ka rag kalavati bar bar sunne ko man taras jata hei sunkar bahu sukun milta hei man aannandit ho jata hei ... Prabhu se prarthna hei ki aapko or aashirvad de or mere jese kirtan sangit ke rashik jan ko naya rag bandish sun ne ko mile... I heard Sawaniji sing just two lines of "Mai ka sajhan bulave..." and caught my self humming that tune. Later I checked the original Sur sangam song and came back here. Without implying any comparison I found Saawniji's rendition superb. Yes, there is a compelling charm in her voice that draws the listener (me in particular) back to her recording from others gold standards!!! Long live Sawaniji!!!
