Since I found this playlist I am listening every night. To hear these teachings read in a straightforward Australian voice is particularly helpful to me (I guess there must be some "accepting", "identifying" or "clinging" in me there!). What the topic is "being natural", a natural voice is very apt. While listening, I follow the instructions of the teacher, as best I can.

I found you via Waking Up. These meditations have really helped and I find myself meditating on them several times a day rather than just once. The pointers pierce through my very analytical mind so quickly! Although I still haven’t had any real deep recognition yet, it feels like what you’ve provided will help me drop everything and see it. Thank you thank you thank you for all of this!

It appears to awareness that “I’m” conceptualizing awareness also. It seems to be back and forth between be-ing awareness and the mind conceptualizing it, putting form to the formless. It seems I am “making” awareness. Although I’m not waiting for lighting bolt enlightenment, ego wants lightning bolt enlightenment. A funny saying I heard once is “ enlightenment is the ego‘s biggest disappointment. It won’t be there for it’s own enlightenment.” Helpful pointers are appreciated please. ❤️🙏

Why? You just gave yourself the most helpful pointers already! Ironically it is all contained within your KZbin moniker as well. They are excellent. That's it. Why want more?

Very reassuring to hear there's no need to force the mind into meditation as that sacrifices the very naturalness that we're trying to cultivate. Thank you!

Dive in ur heart . Be there . Be the emptiness and empty everything except love. Preferably after diving into heart after some time when u get use focus on middle of chest a bit of right

Let the agitation be. Don't fight her. Don't run away from her. Don't reject it. Don't accept it. Just observ.
@johnbishop90002 жыл бұрын
Who gets agitated? Are sure it is you? Where are you? What are you? Who are you? Body is inpermanent. Mind is impermanent. Self is? Consciousness is? Awareness is? The observer is? Don't think about it?

Thank you. By far the most helpful guidance I have heard you recite. Clear awareness ,conceptual mind . Oneness. Love for all beings seen and unseen. A small glimpse many times. Conceptually difficult in actuality the easiest thing there is requiring no mental energy. On a personal note it is very noticeable to have teaching without music. Do you read and study teachings while playing music? Do you sit in formal meditation with music? Music can be penetrating pleasurably useful and wonderful when given our full attention intentionally.
