If anyone asks one reason why this may work so well is because Clint Eastwood was basically DESIGNED to be a canvas for hip hop/rap verses, a lot of Gorillaz live performances over the years have actually had entirely improvised/freestyled rap verses either by Del or other rappers, including Snoop himself lmao
