Thanks for sharing the tip, your dexterous cooking skill really brought us to know more on cooking the bringle with just a little oil. Normally we are told to fry the bringle before cooking other seasonings and ingredients where you can taste the greasiness on your lips sometimes. I am your loyal follower from Malaysia.

it only took me a month or so to learn enough Chinese to do that. Then a whoooooole new world of cooking will be available to you that you just won’t see on the English speaking side of the internet

学着做完并吃完了,不放味精,老茄子,没蒸熟,最后熬熟的,味道不错,就是不能发图片。used the matured eggplant and boiled them rather than steamed, still tasty, thank you chef Wang
