Season premiere next week, but we're already working on the Master Ensuite, it's demo time, and also heating, and also a discussion about non profits, and Leslie goes to the Action store.

Those tiles should come off the wall, you would be able to hide water pipes behind new drywall. I think you also need an extraction fan to get the moisture out of the bathroom. It would help with the mold issue. I enjoy seeing the renovations you have done.

Rob, you have grown so much (while DIYing a beautiful chateau). This is what the older generations did - just figure it out, no attitude and learned from their mistakes. The work you just did would have set someone back (labour) a few thousand dollars 🇨🇦. Most importantly, you are both fulfilled and have a purpose. The work you and Leslie do is an outcome of that. What I respect the most is the chateau isn’t going to be a wedding venue. You want to grow the Faith and invest in people. Also, respect the donors who have stepped forward to contribute. Humanity at its best.

Rob and Leslie, thank you for this channel and how uplifted I feel by it. A few months ago, when the piano was still new (to you), Rob played a hymn that I had never heard before - He Giveth More Grace. When I read the words on the screen they pierced my heart. This was a particularly hard time for me as we just been told that my husband had lung cancer and a short time to live. I listened to this hymn again on youtube and it became a constant source of peace and strength to me during the next weeks. This week, our 6 sons-in-law sang it at my husband's celebration of life. One of the speakers quoted my husband when he mentioned that often, the small good things we do can result in big good things in someone else's life. That was the case with you playing this song. It was probably a small thing to you but helped me through the most difficult time of my life. Thank you for sharing your goodness with the world.

Thanks for the video! Thank you Rob for explaining about your heating. I didn't realize that you had the boiler system working. But it is so expensive to run! A couple of other Chateau channels that I watch have added an extra wood fired boiler to their system. It helps on the cost of the fuel for the boiler. But it does take alot of extra work for the wood. It is too bad about your chimneys. I thought that at least one was open because of the birds getting in! Haha! God Bess you both this week and all of your projects!

Rob and Leslie, Your beautiful Chateau de la Grifferaie is not only a historic work of art; it comes with all the surrounding property- forests and gardens which you and your friends are also lovingly restoring. Best of all, it is all being shared with the young people who become part of your program through the months and years. Great investment for God's purposes.

Keep up the great work. Enjoying everything you two are doing. I also love your take on donations to a school. Our private Christian school went down during covid. On the bright side of it is that we had truly some of the best young people thrive and are really great young adults now. It is worth it!! Thank you for reminding me of that!!!

Please consider this, I do not like ceiling fans but in your bathroom it would provide a necessary function. And that is to help with drying of moisture to prevent mold etc. The ceiling is very high and currently is just a trapped area for moisture to grow mold. ( I mean a ceiling fan/light and some even throw heat).

It will be impossible to dry out the bathroom completely because of the water in the toilet bowl. You would have to block that off temporarily while you run the dehumidifier. As an alternative you run it in the bedroom and close the bathroom door while running it. At least you will be able to dry out one room completely

Why wouldn’t you take the tiles off the walls and floor. I would allow you to see any water damage, and you would not loose any square footage in a tight space.
