I keep this unofficial tradition to listen to this particular song every year before autumn begins. I even phased out of listening to Miku during my later high school/early college years after my initial interest back when I was in 7th grade, and I started getting back into her this year, in my 3rd year in college. Don't like being sentimental or anything, especially when I can look past her anime character and know she's just a software. But I'd be lying if I didn't admit that it feels like I've reconnected with an old friend this year and picked back up where we left off, listening to old favorites like these and finding new ones. It's bittersweet how the world works sometimes.

Music like this has that affect on people. I remember being in my early 20's when I first heard this song when this got uploaded. I still listen to it now and it's like loading a playlist of memories and nostalgia. I love it because of what it reminds me of, but I also miss it so dearly. 2010-2013 will always be the golden age for me and music like this.
